Ch.5

Anne's Pov
Of course he wouldn't believe me, he just wants to believe that stupid, jock..

Fong and his gang will pay for messing with my friends. He ruined one friendship of mine, I'm not about to let him ruin another.

He will see that what he is doing is wrong, I hope that he will get hurt just as bad as Jon will.

Craig will believe me, I just have to talk to him alone without Jon. He'll be on my side.

Craig is standing by his locker by himself, perfect. Now is my only chance to talk to him.

"Craig!" He looks up "we need to talk, I know Evan is planning to hurt Jon, I need your help to expose him"

"Are you sure this is a good idea? What if Jon gets mad? What if he never forgives us?" Craig asked with worried look on his face.

"He'll be fine, he will understand why we have to do this" Craig nods still looking unsure, "Okay, here is the plan, You and I are gonna work our way into Evan's friend group, I have history with some of them it will be easy to get in" He nods as a sign that he is following along "If they ask questions our story is we are done with Jon giving us a bad Rep. Once they let us in we need to get as much dirt on Evan as possible, this will allow is to hurt him just as much as he hurts Jon. He will be spending a lot of time with Jon so we wont have to worry about him suspecting anything. Once homecoming comes around we jump Evan with all the dirt we have on him and it will teach him not to ever mess with Jon"

I finish explaining everything to Craig, we both agree that tomorrow at school we will enforce our stage one by getting into the group.

"Tomorrow morning meet me at my house, bring as much clothes as possible, if we are going to be apart of their group we are gonna have to play the part" I tell Craig

"Wow, you're actually gonna let me come to your house?! This is new, you never let anyone near your personal life!" He says

"Yeah well don't get used to it"

We both walk to our separate houses and wait to engage the plan.

Time skip

Craig's Pov

I walk to the address Anne gives me, getting lost only twice. She lives in a huge neighborhood, honestly if I was still 5, this would be my go to trick or treat neighborhood.

When I arrive at my location I begin to second guess myself. The house she written down is a two story white and black house. Extremely fancy.

I ring the door bell and a women, early to mid thirties, opens the door wearing a light peach pink dress with a white belt and white heels.

"Yes, how may I help you?" She asks

"I, uh, I'm looking for Anne?" I tell her, she smiles and steps aside allowing me in.

"Annebeth dear, your friend has arrived!" The women called up the stairs

"Okay!" Anne calls down "you can send him up"

"Go up the stairs and down the hallway on your right, she is two doors down on your left. I'm Annebeth's mom, you can call me Maria!" She said with a smile

I give a small smile "Craig" I tell her and walk up the stairs.

I knock on her door and when she answers she practically drags me inside.

"Good you made it, and you brought clothes, if I can't find stuff for you to wear in you clothes I have a box of my brothers old ones you can borrow" she says and closes her door.

"Explain yourself!!! Now!" I say she looks at me confuse "um hello, your bedroom is twice the size of my living room!!"

"Yeah, this is why I never let you or Jon come over, I was afraid you guys would look at me differently" she says and shrugs her shoulders.

I take a look at her room, black, white, and maroon is the color scheme. They wall of which her king sized bed is against has a bunch of pictures hanging in a very organized pattern.

On another wall a shelf of different books are categorized alphabetically. And of course across from her bed is her T.V. with an Xbox one, and a PS4.

"I know its a bit messy, mother always gets on to me for living like such a pig" Anne says while folding the one blanket on the ground.

"Okay lets get started" she dumps out all of my clothes onto her bed, she begins separating the clothes. Out of my clothes she picks out a pair of black jeans and a white t-shirt, she also picks out an orange zip up hoodie that I never where because I dont want to stand out. "This is perfect, and here wear these. They were my brothers, they will work perfectly!" She pulls out a pair of converse.

I look at the outfit and then to her, she sees the desperate look on my face, "I know, its out of your confort zone I get that, but this will help us get in easier." She says "and hey, I'm getting out of my comfort zone as well"

I walk into her bathroom, which is three times the size the one I have at home, I get dressed. When I walk out she smiles and grabs a brush and begins to fix my hair.

"There, perfect! Now I'm going to go and get my outfit!" And walks into her closet. Which might I add is twice the size of my bedroom!

When she walks out she is wearing a black long sleeve dress with white cuffs and a white collar, she is wearing a white belt with jewels on it around her waist.

Her black heels make her almost as tall as me, she walks over to her vanity and fixes her curled hair. She takes a bit off the top and twists it into a bun. For make up she does all the contour and bronzing, the foundation and blush. Her lipstick of choice is a deep dark red, and she glues on fake lashes.

When she turns around its like looking at a totally different person.

She gets up and fixes my jacket. "Look Craig, you really dont have to do this with me. I can go in alone if you aren't comfortable, I'm not forcing you to do this" she says and look up at me.

Man if I didn't like Tyler I would so have fallen for Anne.

"I want to do this, its okay, we are in this together now!" I say, she smiles and we walk down stairs.

We walk outside and I begin walking down the street, "where are you going?"

"To the bus stop...how else are we going to get to school?" I say confused

She pulls out keys from her purse and opens the garage. Three cars are parked inside, she walks towards the black camaro on the left.

"You have a car?!?!! Why do you ride the bus!?" I say

"I don't want to be seen as a snobby little rich girl, I'm so much more. Now no more questions, get in the car!" She says and gets into the car.

"Fine, but if I'm doing this whole undercover deal with you I at least get to drive your car once" I say while getting in the car. She smiles and we drive to the school.

When we arrive Anne takes a deep breath, and looks at me. I give her a reassuring look and she smiles.

"Well phase one is officially in order, lets do this" she says and smiles as we exit the car.

Lets just hope Jon will understand all of this at the end...
