Ralph and I were on our way over to Ronnie's after we got news from Mike that he was acting crazy. This is kind of unheard of when it comes to Ronnie. He's usually a laid-back, chill type of guy, but maybe something came over him where he just had to let all his bottled up anger and frustrations out.

"I wonder what's up with Ron, man. You think he's okay?" Ralph asked. I could hear the concern for his friend in his voice.

I turned my head away from the window and faced toward Ralph. I couldn't really say anything because, I honestly didn't know the answer. "I'm not sure, Ralph. I guess the only way we'll figure out what's wrong is when we arrive to the house."

"Yeah," He said, following a long sigh. "It's just that all these years that New Edition have been a group, Ronnie's been the one who was the most quiet, ya know? He doesn't usually blow up like this."

Maybe he's gotten to the point of where I was in the group. Maybe he's decided to let all of his feelings out to the rest of his band mates and they just didn't know how to take it, but I wasn't gonna say anything like that around them, because I might offend them.

"Like I said, Ralph, we won't know anything about the situation until we get there." I say, reassuringly.

Ralph nods and puts on a half smile. "Right, right. We'll just see then."

I smiled, then turned to face forward; looking at the upcoming road signs and at the road. Silence remained during that ride, and I could tell that Ralph and I both were very deep in thought. I mean, we don't know what to expect, ya know?

At approximately 5:05 pm, we pulled into the driveway of Ronnie's house. As we were pulling up, though, we noticed all the guys, except for Ronnie, standing outside on the front lawn, talking.

"What's going on?" I ask, taking off my seat belt.

Ralph replied, "I have no clue. Let's go and ask the fellas."

I nodded and Ralph and I both hopped out the car and went into the direction of the guys.

Once they noticed we were coming into their direction, they quickly came over to us.

"I'm glad y'all came over in time." Mike said, breathing a sigh of relief.

Ralph went over to give him a handshake (I think it's their secret handshake or something like that; all the guys in New Edition do it so, yeah). "Yeah, man. We're glad, too. So, what's the deal with Ron, man?"

I say as well, "Yeah, is he okay?"

Johnny came over to join the conversation. "It all started when we all came over to visit him and he was acting kind of weird, ya know? We tried asking what was wrong then he just started getting all mad for no damn reason."

Ricky agreed with Johnny. "Yeah. And after that, he was telling us that he wanted to quit New Edition and do his own thing with rap or something like that. He was heated, man. I don't know wassup."

Then, Mike added, "Then, before you know it, the dude just started throwing vases and shit. He's off the chain! He told us all to get out his house and all that."

"Wow," I manage to say. I was so surprised to hear all of this. "You think maybe me and Ralph should go check up on him?"

Johnny responded to my question, "I mean, I don't know anymore, Shannon. He sure as hell doesn't wanna see us, but you can try. Hopefully he won't try to hurt you like he did with us."
