Apocolypse Rising

Chapter 3

"The market place is only about 6 blocks… we'll walk to save gas.. " I suggested. We took off on foot on a dirt road.

"Oh god… " kendal quivered.

"What?" I asked looking at her breaking down. She pointed at the wooded area a small zombie child appeared stumbling and groaning making her way towards us, she looked about 5 or 6 years of age.Apparently she lived around here, she looked familiar.

"…. Thats her sister….. isnt it? " Jipsy whispered. Kendal began to cry but lipsy covered her mouth as she shook her head yes.

"Shit.. " Jipsy whispered. "Calm down kendal… " 

"Dont look.. " I pulled out my swiss army and slit the zombie childs throat, stabbed her forehead and layed her to rest. All I could hear was kendal screaming for mercy.

"Shhhh… " Jipsy petted kendal trying to comfort her cries of agony.

"We gotta keep. moving its gonna be dark soon" removig my blade from her head.

"Cant you see shes in pain?!  Have some sympathy for christs sake!" Jipsy yelled.

"Listen, I'm trying to help me by helping you now lets go! " I retorted walking ahead. Jipsy helped kendal up dusting her off and we kept moving. We came across a plaza with couple of stores.

"Lets just get what we need and go back ,ok? " I stated as we walked near the plaza seeing about 7 zombied near the entrance. Jipsy put her silencer on as well did kendal. Shots were fired, zombied were on the ground.

"Nice… " I ran in the door checking the scenery.

"Clear. Grab a basket get supplies then move out. " I added. We all grabbed a basket and made our way through store grabbing what we needed and wanted then met up outside.

"Good? " I asked. 

"Good" they both answered . Wheeling our baskets back to the warehouse we unlocked the gate and went inside.

"Thanks. " Romita said with grattitude.  I nodded sitting back on the couch.

"Has anyone see jacey and chris? " Olivia questioned.

"Theyre probably planning there wedding…. " Jipsy fooled.

"They're never separated… ..its like…. they were made for eachother….. "olivia turned my way looking at me but I wasnt paying mind. 

"yeah… its sweet" I added with no feeling.

"Did you have a lover Ari….. " olivia asked.  I gave her a funny look, she called me ari, I thought it was cute for a moment. 

"No…. not really….I think a "lover" doesnt fit me…… feelings come when they come and before they didnt really come…. I dont know… ..love to me is a shallow thing… " my voice saddened.

"Did you? " I tried to change it around.

"..Well…. no…… " she replied looking down blushing. I grinned and turned to jipsy.

"Close the windows…. " Jipsy demanded. everyone got up to see that the sun was setting so it was that time again. Olivia and Kendal lit a few candles and everyone gathered on the few chairs snd couches.  Chris and Jacey came in holding hands, Jipsy was discusted as well was i.

"Why the face" olvia asked me.

"Lovey dovey….. shit.. " Im such a asshole.

"Discusting" Jipsy snickered.I laughed with her.

"I think its sweet. The world is ending and all you have is eachother… " Destiny swooned at the sight of it.

"Hey im just trying to please my girl.. " Chris smiled at the sight of jacey. They were madly inlove, they were connected at the hip, when you saw chris you saw jacey and viseversa…

"Whatever… " Jipsy smirked.
