Apocolypse Rising

Chapter 19

I layed on the couch thinking about what destiny told me holding the gun to the temple. Everyone looked at me weird.

"...Is she ok?" Jipsy asked olivia.

" Go talk to her...."

"She's.....ok.....but alright" Olivia got up off a chair and came to sit down next to me. I didn't even look at her, i was disgusted with myself. 

"...B-babe? You ok..." She reached for my gun and my grasp got a little stronger. I don't want to get physical with her nor hurt her so i just moved her arm gently.

"Do you want to talk about it?" She asked again.

I turned her way, my eyes were bloodshot red. 

"Do you really wanna talk about it....How i'm feeling right now?" My face was dead serious.I looked at chris then looked at jacey with so much hatred it was unexplainable.

"Yes...." Olivia nodded.

I turned her way to face her putting the gun on the floor, 

"Well....." I sniffed, 

"When I woke up and you were not.....in my sight.....I had to think the worse of course. In these awful times that's happening to our world, what else would I think? You were the first person that actually mattered to me in a very long time...i'd do....anything, to protect you....anything....Because it's worth it. It'd die for you......And to see you were gone, i thought i'd never see you again, i even got a little selfish...you didn't even say goodby-" I was interupted.

"I didn't want to wake you..." She looked down at her delicate hands.

"Doesn't matter....Sleep means nothing....I'd never sleep again if that means keeping you safe and out of harm. I didn't sleep for a week before it means nothing to me, nothing else matters to me if you are near me....If not my world is over because you are my world now...." I paused.

"AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!" Jipsy fake crying in the rocking chair in the corner.

"..Shut up..." I wiped tears from my face. Olivia scooted closer, took my hands and kissed them then looked back up at me.

" Stop crying....i'm here....i'm alive....we're together......get it together." She kissed me softly and got off the couch. I reached for my gun again and layed it over my chest.

Chris and Jacey hollard, "Hey....I wanna apoligize....for a know....leaving." 

Jacey added, " Yeah....sorry...."

I nodded, still disgusted at the fact they'd even ATTEMPT to talk to me after today. Destiny walked in with 6 hot plates of canned vegi's and beans that she found on a supply run and we began to dig in. I didn't eat, I gave my plate to Olivia.

"Are you sure.....?" Olivia questioned.

"Positive..." I scooted my food her way.

"I mean if you won't eat it...." Jipsy stood up joking ran over over to the plate.

"I gave it to her!" I yelled at her but it wasn't serious.

"Ok ok..." Jipsy walked back to her seat and dug into her food.

Olivia kissed my cheek and began to eat, i layed down on her to take a nap.
