Chapter 23

"So what are you interested in..." Miles asked her while tightening his grip on JIpsy's hand.

Jipsy thought, "You."

"Well.....I like tree's and art and music....Beautiful things ya know? Oh Yeah and weapontry." She just had to add that in.

"That's interesting.." Miles chuckled.They talked the whole time that I know of.Chris and Jacey were discussing the fact like Miles almost killed Jacey but she doesn't really care at this point.

"What do you mean?" Jacey asked him.

"He tried to kill you." Chris said softly in anger.

"....Maybe he didn't mean it." She tried to sound nice about this," Maybe he thought we were zombies."Chris scoffed at the thought of that." What the hell is your problem, he's apart of our group now so drop it."

"What if you were to die?" Chris asked, getting more upset.

"But I didn't so calm down..." Jacey walked ahead of Chris on the dirt road. I could tell she was upset. I let go of Olivias hand to go see what's wrong. I looked at him, he looked at me.

"Everything alright?" I asked.

"I just want her to be safe." Chris looked up at her walking a distance away with her arms crossed.

"I see.....now you know how I felt at the cabin...." I looked back at him.He nodded his head."Just let her cool off she'll be fine, she needs some space I guess." I patted his back walking back to Olivia interlocking hands.

There was a heard of zombies coming our way moaning and groaning.

"..Fuck...." Jacey looked ahead and turned around and motioned to be quite.

"Hm?" Destiny was confused.

"....Theres a giant...heard...of zombies....up the road, we can't take them we gotta go another way..." She suggested quitely.

"Through the woods?" Miles suggested letting go of Jipsy's hand taking his bow and arrow out.

"That's instant death, where do you think they came from dumbass..." Chris argued.

"Listen i'm not here to argue with you..it's the only way anyway." Miles sized chris up and lead everyone into the wooded area.

Chris looked at Jacey, Jacey ignored him "Can we talk about this?" Chris pleaded trying to take her hand.

She yanked away, "not the time." She left chris and walked ahead with her gun out.

"She'll come around." I walked past him.

There was a crackle from a distance, we all stopped moving.I pushed Olivia behind me and took my sword out . Jipsy and Miles were ready with their weapons. Jacey had her hand gun with the silencer. Chris and Destiny stayed behind her.

"........Where'd the noise come from?" Destiny asked quietly.......And then it happend.
