"W-Where am I?", Lyra woke up to the bright light that was above her. "Lyra! Thank goodness you are alright.", Fennace hugged her daughter. "Mom?", Lyra's eyes widen. "What happened to me?", Lyra asked while holding her head with her plam. "A girl with purple hair carried you here while you were unconscious. She said that you fainted out of nowhere.", Fennace said thinking back to what happened. "What happened to you?", Fennace asked. "I-I don't remember... .", Lyra said trying to remember back but her efforts were futile. "It's alright, as long as you are safe, I am thankful.", Fennace hugged her daughter.
After school, I immediately ran to the pond that was said to be located in a garden outside. "Cassia, where are you going?", Mr. Terrik asked his new student. "I'm going to check on something. Please don't mind me, teacher.", Cassia smiled. "Om Thagara Tussum.", Cassia summoned Carla as soon as Mr. Terrik leave. " Carla, give me the location where the garden that has the pond is.", Cassia demanded. "Yes, master.", Carla said then running out of the school and the the direction where the garden is located.
"This is it?", Cassia asked my cat who was beside me. Carla nodded. "I sense a creature with a huge amount of dark magic in this pond.", Carla said while bringing over a stick with her mouth. "Anything that falls in never comes out.", Carla explained while throwing the stick in the pond. The stick slowly disappeared into the darkness. "Unusually deep for a pond isn't it?", Cassia asked Carla. "Yes. I will help you for backup. Do you want me in human form, master?", Carla asked. "If that is fine by you.", Cassia answered. Carla turned into a human instantly with black hair, ears and tail. "Avasna Svvanna Thega.", Cassia casted a spell on herself to breathe underwater. "Carla, wait her for me. I will lure the demon out, when it is out of the water, use a spell to make a cage for it.", Cassia said glancing over to Carla. "Understood.", Carla answered Cassia.
I had never done a mission underwater before. This surely would be a challenge. The sun is setting now. I braced myself for the worst to come and jumped right into the water. The water felt warm and nice but it is so dark and deep. "Who's there?", a kid's voice asked. Cassia looked down to see a small frail mermaid crying. She have long green hair and her tail was blue. "P-Please bring me to the ocean. I wanna see momma... .", The little mermaid sobbed. I can't bring myself to kill her. She's so young. "I will bring you there, so please don't cry.", I said. The mermaid stopped crying and smiled. "Thank you.", The mermaid said. "What is your name?", I asked her. "Angel.", Angel answered. "Alright, come now. I will bring you to the ocean.", I told her. She was as small as a baby, I carried her and swam up to the surface. "Barrier spell!", Carla shouted casting the spell both of me and Angel in a cage. "Carla, forget about the plan. She is only a kid. I am bringing her to the ocean.", I said. Carla nodded and cast off the spell on them. "Avasna Svvanna Ageth.", I casted a spell so Angel could breathe while she is on land.
"Teleportation spell.", I said while carrying Angel. We reached the nearest beach. Angel squirmed out of my hands and jumped right into the water. She waved goodbye with a smile on her face. Her sweet smile melted my heart as I knew that this was the right thing to do.
