Lyra's eyes widen in shock. "C-Cassia the Witch... .", Lyra whispered to herself. She looked at me with horror. "I'm sorry. I've got to go...!", Lyra ran without giving me her reasons. "W-Wait!", I tried to chase her but it was useless. She even left her cupcakes behind. She knows me...? She knows I am a witch? How could she had known the nickname in the Witch society gave me, "Cassia the Witch". She must have knew something. Or maybe she is an exorcist, she hates me because I am a witch? I couldn't figure out why. I could only stand there and cry. Teardrops rolled down my chin. Even my friend abandoned me.... .

"Cassia?", Mr Terrik saw me crying in broad daylight. I stopped my tears and ran towards my class. Just then the bell rang.

I glanced over to Lyra multiple times but she ignored me every single time. After school, Lyra was the first one who ran out of class. I bit my lip, trying not to cry again. I walked out of class and went home immediately. "Welcome home, Cassia.", my mother greeted me. I ran up to my room without another word. My mother hates me even my only friend hates me now. Why? Why?! Why does everyone hate me? What did I do that made everyone dislike me? "AHHHHHHHHH...!!!", I screamed. The floor started to shake immensely. My eyes glowed purple. My heart felt as if it was ripping into two. I felt a presence at the corner of my eyes. I saw my mother grinning like a serpent. Magic flowed out of my fingertips, I couldn't even control it. I shot it at my mother. She blocked it with a shield spell. "Good. I had waited this day to come.", My mother smiled cheerfully. I felt cold by her smile. She never treated me like her daughter, never in my whole life had I felt warmth and happiness because of her. My rage was completely at my mother. "Kill me. If you do, then I had fulfilled my cause.", My mother smiled. My finger pointed at her without any of my control.

"I knew it.", a voice from behind my mother said. "Dad..?", I calmed down the second I heard his voice. "D-Dear? I thought you were at work?", My mother turned around by his sudden appearance. "Don't you dare to talk to my daughter like that.", My father glared at my mother. He walked in my room and hugged me. "I'm sorry.", My father said. I cried. I felt a knife at my abdomen area. "W-Why?", I asked my father clutching onto him with pain. I was bleeding. It hurts. "You will know sooner or later.", My father's face darkened. I thought you were here to help me.... . I blacked out instantly.
