Chapter 4

Hey everyone! Sorry for the late update, I've been so busy with school. It's really stressing me out and I have tons of homework so, I barely have time to be on here and update. I'll try to stick to the Monday update schedule.  Again, sorry for the late update, enjoy!

Dani's p.o.v:

Last night was like a dream. I never thought that I would ever see him again. Nevertheless, I never thought I'd have the chance to kiss him. And now today, I'll be going on a date tonight, with him. 

Now I'm here, in my room, getting up to start the day. It's 10:51 am and I'm anxious for it to be 8:00 pm. I head to my bathroom to brush my teeth and my hair. I then go back into my room to pick out my outfit for the day.

 I choose a Metallica oversized shirt, that almost looks like a dress on me. I grab some ripped denim shorts and Burgundy knee high boots. I also grab a ripped jean jacket. I decided this outfit would also be suitable for the date, too. I have to double check with Chris though, to make sure that it's not a formal kind of date or anything.

I head to my kitchen to feed my pup and myself. I make some giant pancakes, eggs, and bacon. I eat my breakfast while watching TV, but my mind is not on the television whatsoever. Im just thinking about Chris and our date in just a couple of hours. I can't wait to see his face again, even if I just saw him a few hours ago. 

The hazel, almost greenish eyes, his toned chest, his full lips. He was a perfect man and I couldn't believe that he wanted to see me again. What didn't help was the fact that he was famous. He was in a famous band. That means he's friends with famous people,  he's been to award shows, the list goes on. He could date a famous actress, singer, or model but, he chooses me instead. 

It confused me honestly. I decided to stop thinking about it and ask him tonight instead. I finished my food so I go to clean my plate. Afterwards I decide to head out for a jog around Central Park. I run around the park for a bit, taking in the beautiful autumn flora and fauna inside the park. I decide to take a break and sit down in front of the lake. I take out one of my earbuds and look around. 

The rich colors of the crisp leaves on trees, the green grass that contrasts the color of the leaves, families walking around the park, the clear waters of the lake with a few leaves drifting atop of the lake. This is the reason I moved to the city. The scenery is absolutely exquisite. There are some areas of the city that look as little rough, though. I try to avoid those areas.

I sit for a little while longer and finally decide to get up and head home to get ready for my date, when a girl, about 16 years old, approaches me. 

"Uh, excuse me? Are you Dani Jackson from Under Sunrise?"

"Y-yeah, I am." I answer very awkwardly.

"OH MY GOD I KNEW IT!I'M LISA!I LOVE YOUR BAND! I STARTED LISTENING TO YOU GUYS FROM THE BEGINNING! YOUR MY SECOND FAVORITE BAND! MUSE IS MY FISRT FAVORITE. OH MY GOD, I JUST REMEMBERED THAT I SAW THAT PICTURE OF YOU AND CHRIS KISSING. HEY DO YOU LIKE FROYO?  I HOPE ONE DAY YOU GUYS GET THE FAME YOU DESERVE AHHH. CAN I GET A PICTURE?!" Lisa kept going on for what seemed like ages, but one thing stood out to me from what she was saying.

"You're really sweet but pause for a sec. What was that about me and Chris?"

"Oh yeah! I saw a picture of you and Chris Wolstenholme kissing last night on twitter. It's all over the Muse and Under Sunrise community on twitter, look!" She showed me the picture. 

I freaked out. We haven't even been on a first date! The paps could be watching me right now. I shivered, but realized that by being in a band and in a relationship with a celebrity, I was bound to have this happen at some point. I decided that in the end I should just deal with it.
