Evie's Pov

After work, we all went to the pool. We all got into our bathing suits and got in the pool. Ben and Carlos were about to do a cannonball. "Cannonball!" They both yelled. "Ben, Carlos, no! Don't d-" I was about to say and next thing you know, Mal and I got splashed.

"Hey!" We both said. Ben and Carlos laughed. Mal and I splashed back. We all started splashing each other with the water. Carlos picked me up and used me as a sheild. I laughed. "Carlos!" I yelled. Everyone laughed.

Mal and I got out of the pool. We both held hands. "You ready, M?" I asked and she nodded. Carlos and Ben's eyes widened. "No! Don't d-" Ben was about to say but we both jumped in the pool and I jumped on Ben's back. "Payback time!" I said to Mal. Before I could get off of Ben's back, He stood up spun around.

I squealed. Carlos did the same thing to Mal. Mal squealed too. "Ben! Stop! I'm getting dizzy!" I giggled. He stopped spinning around and let me get off his back. Me and Mal leaned on each other and groaned. Ben and Carlos laughed. "Now, that was payback!" Ben said.

We all laughed. "That was fun, not going to lie!" Mal said and I nodded. The Girls and I went to go dry off and I felt strong arms around my waist and I giggled. "Carlos! Let go!" I said. "I'm not Carlos..." I heard the voice say. I turned and I see Doug. I back away slowly. "Get away from me, Doug! I don't want to see you ever again!" I yelled and The Girls ran over.

"Oh my gosh, E! Get away from him!" Audrey yelled. Doug grabbed me by the waist to drag me away and I screamed. "Stop! Let me go!" I yelled and The Boys ran over. "Let her go, Doug! She doesn't love you anymore!" Ben said. Doug finally picked me up over his shoulder. I screamed again.

"Let go of me, Doug! Carlos, help!" I yelled and Carlos ran over and punched Doug and he fell to the ground and I fell with him. "Ow!" I said and Carlos helped me up and pulled me closer to him. "Come on, E! Let's go, guys!" Carlos said and we all ran away, leaving Doug on the ground.

"Wow, Carlos! You can hit!" I said as we were still running. "Thanks! I learned from the best!" He smiled and I blushed. We ran and ran until we got into the pool. We all had fun and hung for a little while and forgot about everything that happened.
