Tyler’s P.O.V.

I had somehow gotten the cash and was driving to the address that Ward had texted me. I'd taken the emergency exit to leave the hotel to avoid my friends. I had texted Joe that something had come up and that I'd would see them at the airport but I knew that that wouldn’t happen. I could feel my mobile vibrating in my pocket but I ignored it. The cash was in the duffel bag next to me. I just hoped Troye was okay. I intended to call the cops after I got Troye back and wished my plan would work.

Just a minute before the deadline, I reached the place. It was an old factory that made me think that Ward had a thing for old factories. I walked upto the entrance unsure of what to do, so I called for Troye over and over again. My phone buzzed as I saw that I'd just received a message-

DROP THE BAG TO THE ROOM ON YOUR RIGHT, the text from a blocked number read.

“ARE YOU GONNA LEAVE TROYE AFTER THAT?” I screamed, but nobody replied. I went to the room and dropped the duffel bag. Then, I walked outside and took out the extra gun that I had brought here. Just then, I heard a whimpering noise from somewhere.

“Troye?” I shouted and ran to the place where the noise had come from. Sure enough, Troye was lying on the ground, tied to a chair .

“Troye!”I said, relieved, and ran to help him. I pulled the duct tape from Troye's mouth making him flinch and continued to untie him.

“What happened?” I asked, as I helped Troye up.

“I-I don’t really know.” Troye stuttered and filled me in on what had happened between him and Ward. Turned out, when Ward had heard me come in, he had walked out of the room and gone somewhere ( Joseph Is-scared-of-tyler Ward).

“But why did he need me?” Troye questioned.

“I’ll tell you later, we need to get out of here now."  I said, gesturing towards the door. As we were running out, I checked and saw that the duffel bag was gone, which meant Ward was still around, which meant I should pull my gun out.

Once Team Troyler  was outside, I called the police. Then, as I put my phone down after talking to the police, something crazy happened. There was a huge BOOM sound and the next thing the two of us knew, we were falling  to the ground.
