So this is going to be the more break down chapter and I’m hoping for an uphill climb from here.  Thank you for all the support!!  Also I have realized I keep changing the way I write Damian, I think it’s also because of my spell check, it keeps changing the words I want… :/  Please ignore it, I’ll go back and hopefully edit the chapters with the actual spelling… when I decide what that is lol.

There really was nothing more I could do but sleep it off.  Sleep off the pain and settle for a better tomorrow.  The pain of losing your pack bond hurts and takes quite an emotional and physical toll on your body.  A recurring thought played through my head while I was asleep.  “Your mother never understood that either!”  “You just gave away our only chance of survival!”  Unanswered questions filled my mind and I had no choice but to listen to it.  Even with Blake by my side for 3 days straight, with all the love and support he gave me, I was never going to be stable enough for this.

The smell hit me like a ton of bricks.  Bricks of death.  It smelled of rouges, sweat and blood.  Never a good combination, ever, double underline and everything.  I felt groggy, and that’s to be expected, that and sore.  Like throbbing pulses of pain through my whole body.  Oh and I was starving…but all issues aside something made my stomach feel queasy.  What’s going on?  Blake looked exhausted as I could hear the heavy snoring from him.

The dark circles under his eyes made my heart clench as I caressed his face placing a light kiss on his cheek.  I pulled the IV from my arm feeling the need to pee so badly.  I was thankful my wolf could keep her bladder under control.  I slipped out of the bed my feet touching the cold floor.  The uneasiness grew and the anxiety felt suffocating.  I went to the bathroom to do my business in which after I brushed my teeth and my hair.  I crept quietly out of the bathroom heading out of the room and down the stairs.  It was strange not seeing anyone in the kitchen and as I stepped outside I could see why.

The blood stained the dirt and the smell hit me hard.  I could tell we had a rouge attack and while I was sleeping too.  I was still alive which obviously meant the pack protected me.

“Belle.”  Conner spoke from behind me making me jump slightly.  I turned to see a worn out alpha.

“Conner” He outreached his arms and I gladly ran into them for a well needed hug.  “What happened?”  Conner gave a small smile.

“No one got hurt don’t worry, I’m just glad you’re okay.  Come on Faith, Grace, mom, dad, Charlie.  Hell we’ll make it simpler.  Everyone’s been waiting to see you.”  I gladly ran to see Faith jumping onto the bed waking her up.  She woke up with a frown which soon turned to happiness.  Then I ran into Grace’s room where I body slammed Nathan cuddling between my two best friends.  Nathan was not happy about having the air knocked out of him, but he’ll get over it.  I ran to Sarah and Chris’s room knocking on the door and waiting for a response.  You must respect people’s privacy.  HEHE.

Chris opened the door first before he engulfed me in a big bear hug.  Chris was the big bad alpha but to his family he’s like a big teddy bear.

“C-can’t breathe.”  I spoke before Sarah came and pried Chris off of me.  I laughed, as Sarah engulfed me in a big hug too.

“I’m so glad you’re okay.”  Sarah almost cried out making me smile.  Sarah and Chris were my real parents no matter what, and I loved them.

“Hey you better make sure you thank that pup up there.”  Conner insulted Blake smiling.  “That idiot hasn’t left your side in three days, ever since you collapsed… I even had to bring him food and force him to bathe.”  Conner smiled shooing me off to go back upstairs.
