Have you ever stared at the sun? It is said that if you stare at it long enough you are bound to become blind. But, how do we know if that is true? Thats's the thing. We don't. For all we know you could stare at the sun and chant some magic words that could transport you to a parallel dimension. But, what do we care. We don't want to become blind and make our life more difficult then it 'is' just to carry out an experiment which may have no positive outcomes at all. We put our trust in scientists because they are 'smarter' and more 'knowledgeable' then the best of us. They are willing to put their lives at risk to make this world a better place. This, however, would prove to be our greatest downfall.
