After my shift had ended I walked towards the locker room, I had arranged a dinner with Sakurai so I needed to look nice, I walked into the room and past the gossiping nurses who were huddled around one another whispering and giggling about who knows what, far too interested in their conversation to notice me walk by. I came up to my locker and pulled my keys from my scrubs, I selected the correct one and thrust it into its hole before turning it clockwise.
With a satisfying pop my locker came undone, I stared as a white letter drifted out of my locker to the floor. I bent down and picked it up inspecting it as I went, I flipped it over a few times then my eyes settled on the right hand bottom corner of the letter, there rested a small pink sakura flower. I stared at the letter before snapping out of it, this wasnt just any letter, it was a letter from prison. It was about my brother.
I changed into my casual clothing which happened to be my favourite outfit, it was coincidently perfect for a date, it was composed of my studded collared white blouse, my light pale coloured just above the knee skater skirt, my long compfy pale snug socks and the long brown boots that covered them, I threw on my long brown military styled trench coat, I stuffed the letter inside my pocket dismissing it for a later date.
I turned to leave the room, but at that moment I overheared the conversation that the nurses were having, I had to ask Sakurai if what I heard was true I stormed to the door and opened it, I stepped out to allow the door to swing shut itself. I ran to the hospital second floor lobby, where I saw Sakurai and may I say he looked stunning, his tall figure stood out in his black buisness pants complimentary with his white dress shirt, long black trench coat and black scarf which was flung gracefully over just one shoulder, his usually combed back brown hair hung shaggily over his face, which in itself was a chisled work of art.
I strode over to where he was standing and tapped him on his shoulder, 'you look nice' I blurted out with a stupid smile plastered on my face,
'You look beautiful also' he commented checking me out with his eyes,
'Not really, anyway I have a good place you may like' I state dragging him to the escalators, not giving him time to argue.
After we got to the bottom I pointed towards the main enterance 'You go wait outside, i'll make the reservation' i demand, he snickers at me yet still obeys willingly.
'Hello, boss can you spare me a table' I whined down the phone,
'I can but why?, you got a date', he sneered back down the phone,
'No he's a collegue from work I swear i'll tip you big, boss I thank you so much' I shout before hitting the cancel call button. I fist punched the air in triumphance, much to my dismay everyone was looking at me, I put my head down and speed walked through the main enterance door.I walked up to Sakurai, 'Let's get a cab' I suggest, he nods, we walked to the road side and he stuck his thumb up to signal a taxi, one rolled up beside us and we got in.
'To Palace La Fleur please' I instructed the driver,
'Yes, miss' he says starting up the car, pulling out and taking off.We arrived around twenty minutes later, 'thats ¥10,000 please miss' he holds out his hands as I place the crisp ten thousand yen bill in his outstretched hand. We got out of the taxi and waved a brief goodbye to the driver.
As we walked to the doors of Palace La Fleur you could tell it was a first class resturant, the fancy art decor that lavished the walls was unbearable to look at, as you entered the resturant there were red silk vines that flowed down from the ceiling to the floor, in the middle of the floor stood a large red and gold counter at either side of the counter stood two rustic, medevil doors that lead to the dining area.
