Alternate Ending!

A/N: I know I said I would do this ages ago but I never found the time... Well I have time now so finally, my alternate ending which you will have to read while ignoring the last three chapters! (This might be kinda short tho)

Lance P.O.V.

The streets are silents and the night is cold. The starts glistened over head as the wind rustles through mine and Keith's hair.

We were heading back from the cafe Keith works at. We had walked back to school together more than a few times and for some reason I always enjoyed it.

A cold breeze fills the air and I shiver, realizing that I should have worn a jacket.

Keith glances back at me and notices me shiver. "You want my jacket?" He was wearing his typical red jacket that he wore practically everywhere

"Uh, no," I say, suprised by his sudden kindness. "You're gonna get cold if I take it."

He laughs and grabs my hands with his and for a moment I'm really confused and my face starts to flush before I realize he was just showing me how warm they were.

"Damn, you're like a walking heater," I laugh.

"Yep, I just were this jacket cuz I really like it," he says. "Besides, I don't want you catching a cold. Then you wouldn't be able to walk home with me."

He smiles again as I put on his jacket, warm with his recent heat.

I notice how when Keith smiles he gets a soft dimple in his left cheek and his eyes crinckle a little bit. I notice how his eyes seem to dance in the moonlight and...

And... Oh god... I think I was... I was...

"I think I'm in love with you Keith."

Crap, did I say that out loud?

Keith's P.O.V.

"I think I'm in love with you, Keith."

Wait, WHAT?! I must have heard him wrong.

"What?" I blurt before I can stop myself.

Lance sighs. "Look, I know this must be really weird for you but I think I'm in love with you. And I think I have been for a really long time but I just-" he sighs again as if trying to find the right words. "Keith, you're amazing. You have great looks, you're great at school, you're athletic and your just so... So perfect. You can have whoever you want and I don't expect you to want to be with someone like me... Anyways, I probably just ruined our friendship so I'm just going to go."

Lance wirls around and starts to walk away and before I know what I'm doing I take a large step after him and grab his arm. Unfortunately I pull him back a bit to hard and stumble back against a wall. I was still holding onto Lance's arm and he stumbles with me, having to put up a hand over my hand on the wall to stop himself from slamming into me.

For a moment neither of us say anything and all I can do is stare at his face which was barely an inch away from mine.

Then I can't take it anymore.

I pull him close by the collar and squeeze my eyes shut as I kiss him. On the lips.

We break apart, slightly breathless. I ease myself off the wall and lean my head against his chest and wrap my arms around him.

"I love you too, Lance."

I can practically feel Lance's heart pounding in his chest. He seems completely shocked and unable to say anything for about a minute. Then he says, "I can't hear you."

"I said I love you," I mumble again into his shirt.

"What?"

I laugh and pull away a little so I can rest my forehead against his. I reach up my hands and cup his face with them. "I said, I love you, idiot."

Lance smiles and kisses me again. He looks at me in a way that I haven't been looked at in a while.

He looks at me the same way my mother did. Full of love and happiness.

And I think I was looking at him the same way.

A/N: ayy that's that! I guess this means this is officially the end of this story :'( although I might add some short sciences later if I think of any!
