Sonic sighed sitting a booth at meh burger.
He was waiting for tails but he hadn't shown must've gotten busy with the X-tornado or something... typical tails.
He perked up with a smile spreading across his face hearing footsteps coming his way.
"Ah tails finally I was ab- oh...you..." Sonic sighed and sat back down seeing the pink hedgehog slide into the booth across from him.
"Hey sonikku!" Amy greeted with a bright smile.
"Hi..."
He greeted coldly.
'god kill me now...'
Amy continued to blab on as Sonic poked at his food bored out of his mind.
"So I said to rouge, girl if you think you stank ass gonna steal the master emerald yo got another thing cumin! And blah blah blah girl story's blah blah blah boring story blah blah blah."
Meanwhile a red echidna was sitting in the booth across from them staring intensely​.
Knuckles had taken this the wrong way he assumed they where on a date.
'hm...I need a plan to get Sonic to myself.' knuckles was in deep thought perking up as Amy had another thing she loved just as much as Sonic.
Soft served ice cream.
Knuckles walked over to their booth looking at Amy.
"Yo Amy I just heard a soft serve ice cream truck dr-" she was instantly gone as sonic sighed in relief.
"Aw man I thought that would never end!" Sonic sighed slumping down in his seat.
"Thanks knucks I owe ya one." 
Knuckles slid into the booth.
"Hey no problem." He said resting his hands behind his head and putting his feet on the table.
"So...what all of a sudden made you want to come to my rescue?" Sonic asked bluntly causing knuckles to blush and sit normally.
"W-what?" Knuckles asked.
"I thought you had no emotional attachment to me."
"Well I don't"
"Then why did you save me from Amy?"
"Because I felt bad."
"But that's an emotional attachment."
"Uh."
"Knucks"
"..."
"Knucks!"
"..."
"KNUCKS!"
"BECAUSE I LOVE YOU ALRIGHT?!" Knuckles yelled making everyone look at their booth.
"I've had a crush on you ever since we worked together for the first time! Your emerald eyes and blue fur drive me crazy!"
He had closed his eyes tightly gritting his teeth he didn't have to look to know Sonic was blushing.
"Aw fuck it!" Knuckles yelled.
"I can't wait any longer!"
Knuckles grabbed Sonic by the scarf and pulled Sonic in kissing him roughly as the cries of fan girls rose up around them.
There was one specific pink hedgehog who's eyes where gleaning clucthing his blue hood. "AHHHHH SONKNUX!"
The random pink hedgehog got a nosebleed and took a picture. "IM SO USING THIS FOR MY FANFICTION ON WATT PAD!"  He squealed with pleasure before passing out.
Knuckles was extremely shocked when Sonic started kissing back.
After a while they both pulled back having their faces inches from each other as sonic chuckled pulling off a smug smirk.
"And you say you have no emotional attachment to me."

"Shaddup."
