Sonknux Oneshots!

Dreams.

(Sorry it took so long to relapse the new chapter! School and junk.)

Sonic and Knuckles both groaned as they walked into Sonic's house.
They were both covered in scratches and bruises
They had just finished another fight with Eggman and needed a long rest.
Sonic flopped down in his bed with a yawn.
Knuckles didn't even bother to find somewhere he simply just flopped down on the floor with thud, soon snoring peacefully.
Sonic soon followed suite as the sounds of the night made him drift off to sleep.

As soon as he fell asleep he seemed to be awake, sitting on the edge of a cliff with Knuckles, who was staring out into the distance.
Sonic followed Knuckles gaze to find a sun set off in the distance.
Needless to say Sonic was confused as he sat there, staring at the sunset as be awkwardly adjusted his scarf.
"Sooo," Sonic started, "What are we doing out here?"
Knuckles looked over at him, a strange look was lingering in his eyes.
"I wanted to be alone with you to talk about something." Knuckles said with a sigh.
Sonic nodded. "Alright go ahead."
Knuckles averted his gaze back to the far off horizon.
"Have you ever...had these feelings for someone...even if it isn't quite right?" Knuckles asked.
"Yeah, of course, everyone does." Sonic said with a nod. "Do you like a certain someone buddy?"
Knuckles suddenly blushed and looked away with a bashful look flooding his face. "Maybe! Maybe not! That's not for you to know!"
Sonic rolled his eyes, a smirk on his face.
Knuckles sighed and turned back to Sonic. "So. Let's say I have a crush on another male. What would I do?"
Sonic looked at Knuckles, his eyes clearly saying why are still trying to hide this?
Without another word, Sonic pulled Knuckles into a hug.
Knuckles hesitated but hugged back, they stayed like that for a long time before pulling back, their noses mere inches away from each other.
Sonic put a hand up to Knuckles cheek as they stared into each others eyes.
The red male slowly inched closer until their mouths were close.
Sonic leaned in a little and right as he felt Knuckles lips brush up against his he woke up due to falling on the floor.

Sonic let out a quick yelp as he looked around only to find Knuckles had pulled him into a cuddle position from his spot on the floor.
Sonic blushed and tried to get out of the strong enchidna's grip but his struggle proved worthless.
So with a sigh the blue blur closed his eyes after he wrapped his arms around Knuckles drifting off to sleep after whispering. "I love you, Knuckles..."
Before Sonic fell asleep he swore he heard a faint, "I love you too."
