Sam felt her cheeks become heated as Jack's stare blazed through her soul. She sighed and closed her eyes, grabbing her bag and swinging it over her shoulder as she exited the car. Jack watched as she stormed into the house. He slumped his shoulders. "Her arm was covered in blood," he said to himself, "was she peeling her scabs during the car ride?" He sat there for another few minutes before gaining the balls to go inside, too. Shutting the car door, it locked behind him, giving him no chance to pussy out now. Taking a deep breath, Jack walked into the house and saw Felix and Mark cuddling in the couch watching the news together. Mark turned to Jack and smiled.
"Hey Jack. Sam went upstairs."
Jack nodded skeptically and carefully walked up the mansion's stairs to the second floor. A door was open and sobs were heard form inside. "Sam?" he called. No answer. "Sam?" he called a bit louder. Still no answer. Frantically, Jack ran into Sam's room and saw her shaking violently on the floor, her shoulders slumped.
"J-Jack.. I-I need you.. p-please?" she whined, her nose stuffy. Jack didn't think twice about dropping his stuff where he stood and ran to be in front of Sam, crouched to see her face. She looked up with puffy eyes and tried to wrap her arm around Jack, but couldn't lift them. He looked down and fell backwards, eyes wide.
Sam's cut wounds were open, blood gushing out from them turning her arm completely red. He stood up and sprinted down the hall to the bathroom and retrieved a towel. "Please be ok," he whispered to himself as he sprinted back down the hall. Sam was on he back now, mouth ajar, breathing shallow and slow and arms surrounded by blood. Jack used both his hands and pressed the towels down on her arms to help stop the bleeding. "FELIX," he screamed, warm tears falling down his face and onto Sam's shirt. "FELIX! PLEASE COME UP HERE! P-PLEASE!"
Footsteps could be heard outside the doorway as they stormed down the hall. Felix appeared in the door with Mark behind him. The two ran to Sam, Mark lifting Jack off Sam. "LET ME GO! S-SAM! SAM I'M COMING," Jack yelled, trying to squirm away from Mark.
Mark set Jack onto Sam's bed and held his shoulders. "Jack, look me in my eyes," he said, "I need you to stop yelling, ok? She'll be ok. Stop freaking out."
Tears were falling out Jack's eyes uncontrollably as he looked over Mark's shoulder at Sam. She was blinking slowly, stirring awake. Felix caressed her hair as he checked her pulse. Mark pressed Jack up against a wall, pinning him there. "Don't. Move."
Felix lifted Sam off the floor, one arm on her stomach and one dangling down by her side. He carried her bridal-style out the door. "SAM! MARK, STOP HIM! LET ME SEE HER, PLEASE!"
Mark sighed and looked at Jack, his eyes full of sorrow. "Jack.. please stop. She'll be ok.. you're making this hard."
Jack's mouth fell open. "SHE'S MY SISTER NOW, MARK! LET ME HELP HER!"
Mark shook his head. "I'm sorry, Jack. I can't let you do that right now. Felix was a doctor for suicide children. He'll fix her up in five minutes or so."
Jack grit his teeth and began to buck his hips at Mark, trying to make him release his grip. "Mark.. let go of me," he said, anger laced through his voice.
"If I do," Mark began, "you better stay up here, or else it won't look to good for you."
Jack narrowed his eyes. "Let. Go."
Mark let Jack's arms drop to his sides and backed away from the wall and sat down in a swivel chair. "Stay put, Jack. Felix has no tolerance for disobedience. What we tell you to do, you obey."
Jack threw his hands in the air. "I AM NOT YOUR SLAVE AND NEITHER IS SAM!"
"Oh Jack," Mark chuckled." "That's exactly what you two are now."
