See Me - An OkiKagu Love Story Part Two

Kagura POV

It reeks in this place. Where the hell am I? What the hell happened? And why the hell can I not open my eyes. Suddenly a familiar scent hits my nostrils and an eerie calm descends on my body. Swallowing, I take a breath and say, "Sougo?"

His arms envelop my body as he lets out a relieved sigh. "Thank god. I was terrified I was going to lose you." Confusion takes over my fear. 

"Huh?"

"Kagura, you've been comatose for a week. I was terrified that you were going to die." 

"You mean, you still love me?" Now it's his turn to feel confused.

"What are you talking about? Of course I do. Just cuz you can't have kids doesn't mean my love for you will just magically disappear." My eyelids feel lighter and I slowly open them. He's pale, his normally perfect hair is unkempt, there's stubble on his face and he looks as if he hasn't slept for weeks. I smile at him and gently cup his cheek. "Sougo..."

I punch him. I punch him as hard as I can. "YOU ARSE! YOU WERE SCARED? I THOUGHT YOU HATED ME! I THOUGHT YOU WERE GOING TO LEAVE! WHY AREN'T YOU HORRIFIED BY ME! EVERYONE ELSE IS! WHY DO YOU STILL LOVE ME WHEN I CAN'T EVEN GIVE YOU CHILDREN?" Tears flow down my cheeks and my vision's blurry again. 

His arms envelop me and he kisses my forehead. "Is it a crime to love you?" I said nothing, just wiped at my eyes. "Besides, I don't want kids. They're too troublesome. Just think of all the grief and money they'll cause us. No thank you," he said in his normal dead fish tone. I burst out laughing. I should have known. My Sougo is not as petty as to kick me to the curb. 

He releases me but I grab him by his shirt and crash my lips onto him. He grips my face and growls possessively. I laugh against his mouth and he takes that as an opportunity to thrust his tongue in.  I moan and hold him tighter. God he is such a damn good kisser. I could kiss him all fucking day. 

The door opens and "Omigod ewwww! Do that not in a freakin hospital room!" Snarling, Sougo breaks free and turns to glare at his cousin. His cousin who has her arm hooked with my brother's. "Oh my god. Are you two finally..." I let my sentence leave unfinished. With a grin, my brother says, "Yup!" He drapes his arm over her and plants a quick on her before jogging over to me. Her face is as red as a tomato and Sougo has that big brother look on his face. 

"How ya doing sis?" 

"I'm doing ok."

"So what'd you decide?"

"Huh?" 

"Surgery or no?"

"What surgery?" I asked. Kamui's jaw dropped and he turned towards Sougo. 

"You didn't tell her?"

"Tell me what?"

"That's the big brother's job, big brother," Sougo say, taking Nobume by her arm. 

"What's going on?" I ask again, but I have become invisible. Kamui flips off my boyfriend who the leaves the room. "Kamui. What is going on?" I ask again. 

Kamui sits next to me and puts his hand on mine. Uh-oh. This cannot be good. He takes a breath but before he can say anything there's a shout from outside the room. "WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU MEAN IT WAS A FALSE ALARM??? WHAT KIND OF DOCTORS ARE YOU???"

"Huh?" Both Kamui and I ask. We look at each other before Sougo bursts in. 

"She doesn't need it. They mixed her issues up with another patients'! She's fine!" Now I am really confused. Just what is going on here? Nobume is crying but they aren't sad tears. She's laughing and she runs over to me and squeezes me. "I'm so happy you don't need a lung transplant Kagura-chan!"

"The fuck you talking bout?" I ask. They begin to talk all at once. "ONE. AT. A. GODDAMN. TIME. PLEASE!" I shout. Sougo fills me in about everything that happened when I was out. I can only gape before I too start shouting. At the doctors. "WE AIN'T PAYING YOU SO THAT YOU CAN SCARE THE BEJESUS OUT OF US YOU LOONIES!!!" 

Everybody's super happy about me being healthy, but I'm just happy to have Sougo at my side. "Gin-san will be here in around an hour. He couldn't leave work any earlier than that," Sougo says, looking at his phone. "Ok!" I chirp. "Now, Nobume and Kamui!" They look over at me. 

"Go kill some time! Sougo and I got an hour and we keep getting cock blocked and he's been waiting for a week! Close the door! Lock it! Put a sock on it! And don't come back until Gin's here! Understand?" 

Kamui starts to protest but I give him the evil eye. Laughing, Nobume takes his arm and leans in. "I saw a janitor's closet just two seconds away, Kamui," she says seductively and he's gone. Sougo shuts the door and walks back towards me. "Really?"

"Yes really. Now get over here and fuck your girlfriend."
