I kept looking at them as they tried to think of something to say. After about five minutes I walked back up to my room and locked the door. I walked back and forth thinking of what I was going to say. Was I going to apologise for what I said or was I going to remain angry.

When I heard the front door shut I decided to walk downstairs to see who had left. As I walk down I realize that the house is very quiet.

"Aunt Caroline are you there??" I yell through the house.

There was no response and I was starting to get worried. As I kept walking I started to hear some noise. It sounded as if it can from the kitchen. When I turned the corner before we get to the kitchen I realized that it was just Stefan.

"Oh it's just you." I said as I walked further into the kitchen.

"Yea sorry I thought that you might be hungry." He stated as he continues to chop some food.

As he continued to cook I continued to watch. "You know your mom used to watch me cook to?" He said as I stared in awe.

"Really?" Was all I could say with out asking a question that he knew I wanted to ask.

"Yep, and to answer your question that I know you want to ask, yes I knew your mom quite well." He said as I stood in shock.

"Well then tell me about her, please?" I asked giving him a puppy dog face.

"What do u want to know? He asked as he continued cooking.

"Everything." I said with a huge smile across my face.

He went on to tell me how they met and how they were on and off a lot. He then went on to tell me the one thing that kept him sane when he went off of the wagon. He said "if it wasn't for your mother I wouldn't be standing here today."

I stood in shock as I continued to listen to him tell me about my mother. After about an hour of talking about my mother dinner was finally ready and we ate and talked some more.

"I just have one, no two questions left" I said as he stared at me.

"Ok what are they?" He asked with such wonder in his eyes.

"First question, do I look anything like her, because I have never seen a picture of her before?" I asked because not knowing who your parents are make you wonder who you look like.

He smiled when I asked that question and continued to look at me. He replied with "you look exactly like your mother, you have every thing but her eyes. Her eyes were brown but yours are green."

I looked at him as if I was five and he was telling me a story. "My second question, do u still love her?"

He wasn't expecting that question, and I could tell by the look in his eyes that he did. He looked at me and said "Yes, I do and I always will."

By this time we finished eating and cleaned up the table. We decided that it was getting late so we went to bed. As we walked up the stairs I called his name.

"Stefan" I said with a worried look on my face.

"What is it?" He said as he turned around to look at me.

I couldn't help but wonder, so I asked this question "when was the last time you saw her?" I knew that this question was really going to bring up the past.

He looked at me and sighed as if he was trying not to cry. "The last time I saw your mom was after the mikealson ball and we had gotten into an argument and she wanted to leave so I let her go." He stopped for a minute as if he was having a flash back of that moment.

"And the last thing she said to me was, When we were together, you use to let me make my own decisions. After all, at least that hasn't changed. And from that I haven't  seen her since." He said as he was on the verge of tears, and from then he walked to his room, as I was left alone on the stairs.

I went to my room and thought about what he had told me about her. She sounded so wonderful, but at the same time I was confused on why she left. I thought about it for what seemed like years until I finally fell into a deep dark sleep.
