I stayed in my room for days. I didn't eat and didn't sleep. I couldn't my mind was not allowing me to see past what I saw.

After a while I decided to leave my room and try to get back to having a normal life. As soon as I walked out of my room Caroline hugged me and told me that she loved me. I continued to walk down stairs and about half way down the stairs I bumped into who I wanted to see.

"I'm sorry are you ok?" Stefan asked as he looked into my eyes as if he was studying me.

"Yea, I'm fine." I said which he then started to walk away. After about five seconds I realized that I hadn't seen the town or even the school and wanted a normal life.

The only one in my mind who could help was Stefan himself. So I turned around and stopped him. "Actually Stefan if you don't mind could you show me around town I haven't seen anything or done anything since I got here?"

He turned and looked at me and responded with "I don't know if that is such a good idea."

When he gave me that answer I knew what I had to do. I gave him the biggest puppy dog face I had ever given. He finally gave in and told me not to tell Caroline or Bonnie.

We drove for about five minutes in Stefan really nice red sports car. I couldn't believe that he had this car. It was a collector's car and I had always dreamed of having this car.

The first place he took me was the shopping centers. It was like he was reading my mind. I shopped for about an hour and I  was starting to get hungry. He told me he knew just the spot to get some good food.

"What is this place?" I asked as we walked in and were greeted by some really nice people.

"This here is where your mom and all of us use to hang out at." He said with a grin on his face as if he was reminiscing of the good old times.

We were seated at a booth near a window so I could still see the town square. I couldn't believe how beautiful this town really was. It had that old feel to it and also was up to date with the times as well.

It had been about five minutes, we had already got our drinks and ordered our food so Stefan went to the restroom. Then that's when a man came to our table.

"Elena Gilbert is this that you?" He asked as I gave him a weird look.

"No I'm sorry you have the wrong person." Was the only response that I could give, because I didn't really know what to say.

"It's me, Matt Donavan, remember we graduated tongether." He said and I still looked at him with such confusion. Lucky for me Stefan showed up.

"Matt what are you doing here?" Stefan asked as he walked back towards the table.

"Well I saw Elena here and that I would say hi. Why didn't anyone tell me she was in town?" Matt asked as he continued to look at me.

Stefan just stood there still thinking of an answer, so I jumped in.

"Well I'm trying to keep it on the down low. I don't want people to know that I am here just yet." I said as I grab Stefans hand looking at Matt, and Stefan was looking at me.

"Ok, I see. Well it's about time you guys got together again. I have been waiting for this day and never thought that I would still be alive. I'm glad you guys found each other again, I knew you would." He said as he hugged us and left.

"That was a close one." I said as Stefan sat back down in his seat.

"Yea a little to close, and how did you come up with that act?" He asked with a smile on his face as if he was proud.
