Gabrielle Lupin (Remus Lupin's Daughter) Book Three

I exit the train and walk towards the carriages. Once I get inside I stand at the entrance of the Great Hall and smile. It's good to be back.

"Come on Gabbi, let's take a seat" Hermione smiles

I nod ok and follow her to our table taking a seat, opposite Neville, Seamus and Lucy.

"Sorry I'm late guys" a familiar voice speaks sitting next to me

"Harry" I smile brightly and hug him

"I thought you wasn't returning" Seamus comments

"I changed my mind last minute"

"It's great to have you back" Neville smiles

"Thank you, it's great to be back"

The new first years enter the hall and the sorting ceremony begins, god I did not miss the sorting hat's song. It's so awful and sounds more awkward than a song.

"How is Teddy? I saw him the other week and he was unwell" Harry asks once the feast begins

"Oh he's much better now, thank you so much for all your help Harry it really does mean a lot"

"You don't need to keep thanking me, I said I will help and I'm sticking to it."

I smile and continue to eat my food as Hermione talks about all the classes she's taking this year.

The next day I wake up early, thanks to Hermione waking me up. I may be happy to be back but that doesn't mean I am excited to be up early and attending lessons. I hope they have Cranberry juice at breakfast because my 2nd year they didn't and I almost had a breakdown but I survived and marched on through with my second favourite known as Orange Juice.

"Hey guys, have the schedules been released yet?" Lucy asks as she takes a seat

"No not yet" Harry replies

"Wrong Potter" McGonagall speaks as she hands us our schedules

I immediately stop eating and open mine to see my classes.

"Charms first, That's good. Better than Potions" I smirk as I see Severus walking pass the other side of the table knowing full well he would've heard me.

"Gabbi, he could've taken points off before we even earned any" Hermione speaks up now all flustered and worried

"Nah he wouldn't do that he will just try and embarrass me in class which is fine as that isn't until tomorrow"

"4th Period"

"What?" I ask looking at Harry confused

"4th, it's right there see" He smirks pointing at my schedule

Damn it.

End of the day

"So how was Potions?" Neville asks

"It was awful, I don't think my face has been that red with embarrassment ever"

"Except that time Sirius announced to everyone you had a major crush on Colin Creevey"

"Yeah thanks for reminding me of that Luce"

"You had a crush on Colin?" Seamus asks whilst laughing

"Hey don't be mean he was a nice boy"

"He was obsessed with Harry and everyone"

"He liked photography"

"He was an amazing Gryffindor" Neville sighs

"Lucy you had a major crush on Oliver Wood, I mean come on you even pretended to be interested in Quidditch just to talk to him"

"I remember that, he was asking me if you really did like Quidditch as he hardly seen you at any games" Harry laughs

"She only went when she wanted to watch her eye candy" I laugh

"Shut up guys, he wasn't even interested so I learned my mistake"

I smirk and continue eating my food.

All in all today has been a good day even though Severus had to do what he did, Just wait until I see him.

For once I'm confident enough to say that this year is going to be a good year and end with Harry not being an inch away from Death again.
