My neck almost snaps when I look up to him in shock.

" w-what?"

He chuckles.

" such a cute little kitten..."

I decide that the best thing to do in this situation is to just ignore it.

" wh-what's happening?"

" you're just gonna stay here for a little while, and then we'll sell- I mean-"

" what?!"
Even though I've already heard this before I still can't believe it .

" listen, what happens here, is that men come in and pick out a girl. Then they buy them."

" what happens then?"

"Well... they own you i suppose so, whatever they want."

" if you let me go I won't tell anyone what has happened..."

He chuckles.

" I can't let you go."

" Why?"

" That's just how it works."

I sigh and close my eyes, then drift into an unusually peaceful sleep.

My eyes blink open to the sound of female giggling.

" Hm?"

I look around, and all the girls are staring at me.

All with the same look except for 1.

That 1 girl looked at me with empathy, she knew what was about to happen, while I sat there clueless.

" So, Jisu,"

The girl from earlier looked at me with a smug look on her face, holding in her laughter.

" You're daddy's girl now? Are you?"
She grinned.
All the other girls burst out laughing, except for that 1, on my right.

She still looked at me with empathy.

" Sh-shut up!"
That took all my courage.

She looked shocked then laughed.

"Such a little baby, she can't do anything for herself!"

Another girl then screamed out;
" She's so short and ugly! Look at her nails!"

They all glanced at my dirty nails and burst out laughing.

I hid them, embarrassed.

They were dirty because of the dirt I scraped trying to escape from Taehyung.

" Mina, leave her alone, she's only young."
The girl from earlier( the one who felt sorry for me) spoke up.

" Oh! Yun ji, are you protecting her because you finally found someone as ugly as you?"
Mina questioned.

For some reason, I foolishly shouted at Mina.

I felt like I had to protect her, even though she's probably a lot older than me.

" YAH! Why do you speak to people with such disrespect?! Or were you always a hoe living on the street?!"

" You s-"

" SHUT UP!!! I DONT WANT TO HEAR YOUR BULLSHIT, BITCH! YOUR WORDS ARE JUST LIKE YOUR BOOBS!! FAKE!!"

The girls all chorused;
" Oohh ~"

" Shut up!"
She screamed, her voice cracking.

I honestly dont know where that all came from...
I'm shocked at myself.

I waited for what would happen next, which was not what I expected.

" I was! This is all I've ever known,(!) and you won't take away my leadership! I worked hard! I worked hard day and night! I dont deserve to be here either!"

I was shocked, with no idea what to say next, all I could think of was;
" Sorry."

There was then a long silence.

Then Yun ji spoke up again.
" Listen, Mina, you may have had a hard life, but so do we, it doesn't give you the right to turn ours in to a living nightmare."

" I'm sorry."
She apologized.

Those were 2 words I never expected to come out of her mouth.

The rest of the girls sat there in silence.

Yun ji:" oh don't act so innocent!"

" Sorry."
The rest of them chorused.

" Finally!"
Yun ji sighed, throwing her hands into the air.

For the next 2 days, Mina still teased Jisu but wasn't majorly mean.
