Jun was patiently waiting outside the captain's meeting room. After the battle with Toshiro, the Head Captain had pulled everyone back into the room to discuss the results. Rangiku had joined them since she had experience with Jun, along with Toshiro. No one had answered Jun's last question of who won. As soon as the Shinigami had all walked into the room Ama had materialized next to Jun, checking over anything and everything. After the battle Jun had started feel a little weak. Of course that would be expected after the fight but it wasn't the normal tired Jun felt after a tough fight. It was a sapping feeling, like all of Jun's normal strength was draining away. Their stomach felt like something was pinching it from the inside and Jun wanted to take a nap somewhere at the moment. Jun and Ama were sitting on an outside bench. Ama worrying over Jun, who was tilting over in their seat because they were falling asleep.
Jun? What's wrong? Did you get injured? Are you just tired? When Jun only shook their head before closing their eyes again Ama shook his head annoyed, not at Jun but at the situation in general. i knew coming to this place was a bad idea. Those damn Shinigami are probably causing you stress. Them and this absurd place. Ama shook his own head after stating that. The Spirit World definitely had a different air to it than Heuco Mundo or the Human World. He was concerned over Jun's sudden tiredness and was not a medical expert but he heard somewhere that is was best to keep the person awake. He didn't really know which situations this rule applied to but better safe than sorry, right?
Hey, Jun? Wanna listen to the Shinigamis? That seemed to spark some interest in Jun since they looked slightly more awake and leaned forward in their seat in interest. Ama smirked in satisfaction for a second, leave it to Jun to let their curiosity get the best of them. He motioned Jun over to the closed door, not bothering to trying to make a grab for Jun's hands. Jun followed after now that their interest was piqued. What were they discussing in there? Were they deciding who won? Would they help Jun? Would they tell them why they suddenly felt a little under the weather? With all those questions flashing through Jun's head they pressed one ear against the door. Maybe it was because the occupants on the other side were being extra loud or maybe Jun's hearing was better than they remembered but they could somehow make out their conversation through the thick wooden doors. Ama hovered over Jun also standing in a similar pose but avoiding accidentally touching Jun in any way.
"-like to know what the fuck that was?" A rough voice was heard first followed by a stern admonishment by they supposed the Head Captain.
"Captain Zaraki, I will ask you to refrain from your language for the rest of the meeting." A grunt answered back. Kenpachi wasn't the type to curse profoundly, sure he cursed as much as any regular adult but he wasn't the kind to layer every sentence out of his mouth with curses. It was just Jun surprised him so much he was getting excited at the idea of trying to battle them, but also wanted to know what was up with their Zanpakuto. For the good of everyone present and for his sanity Toshiro silently promised himself to never make Kenpachi aware of Jun's and Ikkaku's impromptu scuffles, it would encourage utter mayhem upon Soul Society.
"I am also curious about Oshiro-kun's shikai form." A soft gentle voice flowed through the door. Jun's ears perked up now noticing what they were conversing about. What did they want to know about Ama?
Jun wasn't naive enough to wonder why the Shinigami didn't ask them because they probably thought Jun wouldn't tell them, which would be true. It was important to never give away all your cards, especially about your own zanpakuto. It was a silent rule for battle that you just didn't go around telling others your Zanpakuto's skills unless you were certain your opponent would never be able to tell others that information or you were just so confident that no one could beat you even if they knew. Commonly even allies only learned a few things about your zanpakuto through past battles they fought alongside with you and close and long observations.
