I'm angry

I'm angry as I run towards the borders of the kingdom.
How dare he!
I will find him!
Most importantly, I will find you!

I run through the dark woods under the stars that shine bright. These stars are just the reminder of a brief happiness with you. That moon that shines so bright is just a reminder of how beautiful you were.

And everytime I look at them, it's a stab to my heart.

As I run in fury, I hear a low growl. I know that it is a warning from him. He wants me to be cautious in these dangerous woods. But I don't care, I ignore him. My only thoughts are for you.

*********

The mountains around me tell me that I'm nearer to the kingdom. Nearer to you. It is only about an hour left in the journey.

While running I see a dark face in front of me at some distance. The face of a jackal. I don't pay heed. I keep running at him.
He starts running at me.
I put on the wolf-mask.
I bring out a throwing knife with my father's initials on the hilt.
I throw.
It hits him square between the eyes.
I keep running and in one swift move, I jump over the dead body and retrieve the knife.

He will pay.
His body will fall like that of the jackal.
