After a lot of talking and being sad on the phone with my friend Tassie, I finally got to the point.

“Tass, I have to tell you something. Something really important.” I said.

“What? Say it, girl. You know, how curious I am.” she answered.

“Well today, when I was on my way back from training, I took the way through the backyards and alleys.” I replied.

“And?” she asked.

“Guess who I met there!”

“Is it someone I know?”

“You never met him, but you know him.” I answered.

“I really have no idea.”

“I met Liam Payne” I said and had to take the phone away from my ear, because Tassie started to scream. We both were the biggest Liam Payne fans, when we were younger.

“OH! MY GOSH! Why? How?...” she asked, as she calmed down a little.

“He was about to get killed and…”

“WHAT!?” she yelled.

“Tassie, calm down. I saved him.”

“You did what? How?”

“I drew that guy’s fire on me, who wanted to murder him. So Liam had a chance to get away. He’s in the hospital now and…he wanted me to call him!” I said.

“You have his number?! Can I have it?” Tassie asked.

“No, Tassie. I’m afraid it’ll be on the internet then.”

“C’mon you can trust me.” She said in her begging voice.

“No, Tass. I’ll tell you everything afterwards, kay?” I replied.

“Kay” she said a little disappointed.

“Well, I should call him, shouldn’t I?” I asked.

“Do that. But write me an E-Mail right when you hung up.”

“I will” I answered and we took another 5 minutes of saying goodbye before we hung up.

Then I looked at my arm. It took me a lot of confidence to type these numbers in my phone.

It beeped once. Twice. Three times. Four. Maybe he didn’t even want to talk to me. I was just about to hang up, when his voice said, “Hello? Who’s there?”

“Hey! It’s Devon!” I replied.

“I don’t know a Devon.” Liam replied.

Right. I didn’t tell him my name. Everything just went so fast.

“I’m the one, who saved your life.” I said.

“Oh. Uhm. Hi Devon. How are you?” Liam asked.

“Shouldn’t I be the one asking you, if you’re alright?” I replied.

“Yeah. I’m fine. It wasn’t that bad. They only cleaned the wounds and only had to stitch up one. I didn’t lose that much blood, somehow.” He said.

“That’s good. Are you still at the hospital?” I asked him.

“No, I’m already on my way to the airport. Going to LA tonight.”

“Already?”

“Yes. I would’ve loved to meet you again soon, but I’m away for 2 weeks.”

“Two weeks?” I asked.

“Yeah. Sorry. But you could maybe give me your twitter or msn?” Liam said.

“Yes.” I told him and then he already had to hang up, because they were about to get in the airport.
