I went out of the door, to find Tassie being just about to ring the bell.

“Tas!” I squealed.

“Dev!” She squealed. And we hugged each other.

“You found time to visit me!” I said. I haven’t seen her in ages, cause she has been really busy with work.

“Obviously.” She replied. “So now tell me everything about what happened with Liam.”

“I actually was just about to visit him.” I said.

“WHAT?!” Tassie squealed and started jumping up and down.

“Yes, he’s at the studio around the corner. I never knew about it until just a few minutes ago. But yeah, he’s there and we go and visit him now.” I said, took Tassie’s arm and walked there with her. We had so much to talk about, but that had to wait.

And to our surprise, there were actually quite a lot of people outside.

My phone beeped.

-I’m at the café in the next street. Ly xx-

I smiled.

“What is it? It is from Liam?” Tassie asked.

“Don’t be so curious!” I said and pulled her further and to the next street.

“Why are we not going to the studio? Where are we going? Tell me! Now!” she replied.

“Wait and see.” I told her.

We entered the café.

“What are we doing here?” Tassie asked. I found Liam sitting at one of the back tables with Zayn and Niall. Liam turned to me and waved. I waved back and he blushed.

“Who are you waving at? Wh….” Tassie asked and then turned really quiet. Then she started to squeal.

“OMG! You are the best friend ever! You’re so lucky and you let me be a part of it!! You are the best!” and then she attacked me with a hug.

“Yeah, Tas, calm down. It’s just Liam, Zayn and Niall.” I told her.

“JUST?! It’s freaking Liam James Payne, Zayn Jawaad Malik and Niall James Horan!” she screamed.

“And if you keep on squealing, the girls from the studio will know they are here and you won’t be able to talk to them.” I said and went up to Liam.

“Hey” I said and blushed. “That’s Tassie, my best friend. She also surprised me with her visit.”

“Come sit with us.” Liam said with his beautiful voice.

Tassie’s eyes had the size of tennis balls as she sat down. She starred at Liam, then Zayn, then Niall, then again and then said, “Hey”

Awkward silence. Zayn and Niall started to talk about someone I didn’t know. They talked and talked. We listened. More or less. I looked to my right, where Tassie sat with crossed arms. Liam avoided me. He looked to the left to the right. Up and down. Everywhere but where I was.

He laughed about what Niall and Zayn said and added a few things, but never talked to me. He had texted me so many times, so why didn’t he talk to me?

I looked at the clock behind Liam. Ten minutes to four. It was all too awkward. And I bet, the boys had to leave soon.

“I think we have to leave now.” I said and got up.

Liam looked at his watch. “Yeah, we do too.”

Us five went out of the café and along the street. Liam, Zayn and Niall had to go left, Tassie and I to the right.

“Bye.” I said

“Bye.” Said Liam and hugged me awkwardly.

His hug felt amazing. Awkward, but still great.

Then he let go and we turned to where we had to go.

I turned round once more and so did Liam. He waved at me and I did too. Then he disappeared behind another corner.

“Well, this was awkward.” Said Tassie.

“It was.” I said, being a little disappointed.

“You expected more, didn’t you?” she asked.

I just looked away and pulled my phone out of my pocket.

-Why can we talk over internet and texts, but not, when we are face to face?- I wrote and sent it to Liam.

“We didn’t already have to go, did we?” asked Tassie.

“No, but I think it was the right decision. Or what do you think?”

“That silence was hard to stand, right.” She answered and then my phone beeped.

-I don’t know. Maybe because there were too many people around. Now you don’t like me anymore. :( *creys*-

I texted him right back.

-I still like you. Really. But you didn’t even look at me!-

“Are you texting with him again?” Tassie asked.

“Hm” was all I said, because a new text just arrived. Liam was so fast at typing.

-I’m so sorry. I’m just too shy.-

Aww. This was sweet. Somehow.

-I’m too.- I wrote. Then I held on for a moment. I thought about it and added –Maybe we should meet up alone.- Then I pressed the send button.

Not much time passed until I got another text.

-Yeah! That would be great! Cinema tomorrow at 7?-

-Sure- was everything I wrote and sent.
