Anniversary P. 2

Liza's Pov
Waitress: When you get tired of her.

Then she handed him a piece of paper with her number in it. And what made it even worse was David didn't do anything. He literally said "okay."

I looked at him with wide eyes feeling tears slip down my face. When he looked at me his smile fell into a frown. His eyebrows scrunched together. He was confused. He was honestly CONFUSED! I stood up and threw my napkin down and ran out of the restaurant. David kept yelling after me but I didn't turn back. I just kept running. I didn't have a clue where I was going, all I knew was that I was getting away from the restaurant.

Once I was far enough away from the restaurant I slowed down. I looked up at the street sign and it said I was on Dew Street. I was near the beach. I started walking down to the beach when my phone staring ringing. I figured it was David so I ignored it. When I got to the shore I just let it all out. All the tears fell from my face as I slowly sunk to the ground, and I began questioning everything I ever thought was true.

Did David really love me? If he did then what made him stop? And on our Anniversary too!?! Did he lie to me? He didn't love me, Did he? Who else has lied to me? Does Gabbie even like me as a friend? I don't even know who to trust anymore.

I put my head in my knees and continued crying. I sat there for hours just crying until my phone started ringing again. I looked at it and seen it was Gabbie, and apparently she had called me 4 times already. I quickly answered the phone.

L: Yeah? *sniffs*

G: WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU!?!?!

It wasn't Gabbie. It was David, on her phone.

L: Goodbye David!

I immediately hung up the phone. I began crying some more until I got a text. I looked down at it. It was From Gabbie (AKA David)

Text: Are you at the Beach?! I am coming there now.

Dammit! He must of heard the ocean in the background on the phone. I quickly got up and started running to the street. Once I got there I seen a hotel. I didn't have much money on me but I could stay a night or 2 there if I had to. I quickly went inside.

I wiped the tears off my face and walked to the counter.

L: 1 room please.

Woman: Yeah sure! Are you okay Sweet heart?

L: Yeah I'm Fine...

Woman: Alright.... Your room is 1128. It's on the 3rd floor.

I walked to my room and fell down onto the bed. I laid on the bed for what seemed like forever when my phone started blowing up.

David: Where are You! You're not at the beach!

David: Liza let me explain!

David: LIZA! WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU!?!?

I looked through all the messages and started crying again. And I fell asleep crying and thinking about David.
