Back and Badass

Chapter 13

~Half A Year Later~

Madison:

"IT SEEMS LIKE time went by so fast" I said to Dean and he nodded, slinging an arm around my shoulder. "I know, it's like we just met you yesterday" he spoke and I nodded "And now it's almost the end of the year" Ash piped up as he took a bite out of his fish. "I know, and it's almost that time" I put an emphasis on that and the gang nodded.

"I know, don't remind us" Dean groaned and Zac laughed and Noah scoffed "Time did fly by, but you know what they say it flies by when you're having fun" Noah laughed and I smiled, remembering all the fun, and sort of dangerous times we've had together so far.

"Remember when we got chased?" Dean questioned and Zac laughed again "Yeah, it seems like it was just yesterday when all that went down" he said and I nodded, looking off, remembering what had happened.

~Flashback~

"What should we do today?" Dean questioned and I shrugged my shoulder's "I don't know but I am bored" I whined and Noah nodded "Me too" he said and I sat up from my position on my couch "How about we go for an adventure?" I questioned and Dean clapped his hands and Zac raised a brow.

"What kind of adventure?" Ash asked and I shot up "Follow me" I said and they nodded, we left my house and I took them through the backyard through all the trees. The dead leaves and sticks crunched beneath our feet as they whined. "Where are we going" whined Asher as he picked up his pace to keep up.

"Stop complaining and keep walking" I brushed some branches and leaves out of my way as I kept going "I found this place not too far from here and want to check it out" I said and they nodded, keeping the talking to a minimum we kept walking through the trees until we reached a clearing.

"See" I waved my hand to the large fence that was across the field "This is as far as I've ever gone, but I want to go see what's behind there" I said and Dean spoke up "What are you waiting for then?" he questioned as he was almost halfway across the field. 

Jogging to catch up with him we all eventually made it to the fence "Private property" Noah read and I raised my eyebrow "Who cares, come on I think I saw an opening over there" I pointed to my right as we walked towards it.

True to my word, there was a locked door, reaching to the backpack I brought, for this occasion I pulled it off my back, bending down to one knee. "What are you doing?" Zac questioned as I opened the backpack and pulled out a metal cutter. Opening and closing it a few times, I held it out for the guys to see and they smirked.

"Smart cookie" Zac ruffled my hair and I swatted his hand away, fixing my hair and putting it into a ponytail. Grabbing the cutters I began to cut open the fence enough for me to fit through and once it was big enough I slid through, opening up the door.

Putting the tool back I hauled the backpack over my shoulders once again "Come on. And stay quiet, we don't know who could be here" I told them and they nodded, closing the gate softly, we wandered into this run down building.

"There's nothing up here" Dean said as we continued to look around, seeing this weird wall, I began to push and pull at it "What are you doing?" questioned Noah as he seen me, pressing on a certain spot on the wall I shushed him. The brick I was touching slid in and another kind of popped out.

Pulling on it, the wall cracked open like a door "Guys" I whispered to them and they gathered near me "What is this?" Dean questioned and they all fired questions at me "Shh" I heard speaking "Did you think you would get away, cheats never get away" a man sneered and I heard a gun cock.

I held my breath as we slowly opened the door, "Come on" I mouthed and snuck down these creepy ass stairs, staying at the base of the stairs we poked our heads out, seeing three men, one in the corner, on strapped to a chair in the middle of the room, and another holding the gun to the guys head.

"I-I'm sorry, I just couldn't beat him on my own" he said "Underground fighting is for the best of the best, we have no room for weak loser's like you" the man with the gun spat and he flinched "Please, boss, please spare me" the guy laughed evilly "I show no mercy" he said and fired the guy, shooting the guy in the head.

One of the guys gasped and their heads flew over to us, we ducked back "Go, go" I said and we took off, as quietly as possible, up the stairs. "Did you hear that? Rob go check it out" we shut the door as quick as possible and ran out the building.

Leaving the building and dashing towards the gate we took off, running towards the forest we heard a voice "Hey, stop right there, this is private property!" I heard a voice yell and we kept running "Come on" we ran the opposite way of my house as we heard a siren.

"Great the cops" I groaned as we ran through the trees "What are we gonna do?" questioned Dean and I kept running "When we get from out the trees, act normal" I said and we continued to dodge branches and stuff. We emerged from the forest, panting.

"They didn't see us, so pretend like we're coming from the store" I said and caught my breath "Do you think this face will fool the cops?" Dean questioned as we heard the sirens pull closer, we walked towards the house and a cop pulled up beside us.

"Have you seen people run by here or anything?" the cop asked and Dean looked at him with a confused pout "We just came from getting out Aunt some medicine, she's so sick" Dean said and I nodded "Yeah and if we don't hurry she might get even sicker, have a nice day and I hope you catch those criminals" I gave a bright smile to the officer as I took the hair tie out of my hair.

"Oh y-yeah, have a nice day" he said and pulled off, high-fiving each other we continued to go back to the house "Now, about that underground street fighting" I spoke.

~Flashback Over~

"It seems like yesterday that happened" I said "I'm still traumatized" Dean said and I nodded "Same, that was different from on the movies" I nodded "But now is the time for us to find out about that club" I said and they nodded.  "The year is almost up, and we need to find out where it is" they nodded "Let's go" I said and they smirked and we left as the bell rang.

The next chapter or two will be on the street fighting and then it'll skip to the end of the year when she leaves.
