Back and Badass

Chapter 9

Madison:

MY NEXT lessons went by pretty quickly and next thing I knew it was lunch. Taking off my cardigan I put it in my bag, it being fairly hot outside. I stopped at my locker, the lunch I picked up from Aunt May in there, she didn't want to send me to school without food claiming 'I know my niece doesn't want that cheap nasty ass school food'. I shrugged and told her food was food. Closing my locker, I hiked my bag back over my shoulder, walking down the fairly quiet hall, my boot's clicking on the floor.

I walked to the lunch room, walking through it, ignoring any curious eyes and walking out of the back doors to the outside seating area. Stopping at the door once I crossed over I glanced around, seeing a familiar mop of brown hair. Cupping my hands to my mouth, I stifled a laugh as I shouted "Dean!" his head snapped to me and he had the funniest expression.

I started to laugh, not caring about the nosy people wondering who I was as I walked to Dean who was flailing his arms wildly calling my name "Madi! Madi!" I ran a hand through my hair as I approached the table as I seen a bunch of guys sitting. "Make room fucktards!" Dean scolded and I seen another familiar face and I nodded in his direction, they all scooted over and Dean let me sit besides him and some other guy.

"So Dean, who's your friends, also sup Moose" I tilted my head at him and he smirked "Hey little lady" he teased and I rolled my eyes, sticking my tongue out at him. "Moose? You know Noah?" Dean questioned and I nodded "He helped me find the main office this morning" and Noah nodded "That is what I did" I rolled my eyes, grabbing the fruit snacks in my little meal and cheering, "Yes!"

Dean chuckled, "Anyway, this is Asher," he pointed to a dirty blonde haired kid with blue eyes and he nodded his head, his lips curling up into a smirk "Sup, call me Ash-", Dean interrupted "Anyway, that's Zachariah" he pointed to a shoulder length blonde guy with similar eyes to Asher who in turn interrupted Dean "Call me Zac" he nodded "And you know Noah" he said and I playfully glared at him.

"Well, you lot can call me Madi," I said as I stuffed my face with food "If you eat food like that you're going to get fat" Zac raised an eyebrow at me and I laughed "Been there, done that, and trust me, I exercise" I winked at him, continuing my meal as we continued to talk. "So then I told Ash about it and we had to run from the police for like 30 minutes" Dean laughed and I giggled.

"I feel like you would get us arrested" Dean shrugged and I shook my head, looking at the time, I sighed "Looks like lunch is almost over, I should get going, I still got to stop by my locker" I told them and Ash whined "But I was beginning to like you" I rolled my eyes "You'll like me even more when this finger is up your ass" I held up my middle finger and the table roared with laughter.

"But really, you seem cool, we should hang out more" Ash told me and I nodded "You lot are pretty cool too," I paused gathering my stuff "Same spot, tomorrow," I didn't wait for a response as I turned and stared walking "Also, if you want my number get it from Dean, or Moose, they have it!" I called over my shoulder then continued to walk, hearing the guys talk, but I couldn't hear what they were saying.

After I got what I needed from my locker I began to walk towards my exchange student class, which didn't have a whole bunch of people in it, maybe like ten or twelve. That was pretty eventful as it was a class for the exchange students that we all have to take. After that class was over I walked to the gym, seeing it empty, so I followed some girls I seen into the locker room.

"Do you know what we need to wear?" I asked a girl and she nodded "There should be some pants and a shirt with your name on it over there, along with your locker" she told me after she pulled her shirt on and pointed to the right. "Thank you" I nodded and walked to where she said, seeing the stack of clothes.

Searching until I found mine, I grabbed them and found the slip of paper with my name, heading to my locker. Once I found it, I used the combination and put my stuff in there, taking off my shirt, I slipped on the tight grey tank top. I took my shoes off, putting them in my locker and grabbing the running shoes I bought.

I put on the little over mid-thigh black sweat type shorts on, seeing as full on sweatpants was the other option and it's hot. I made sure everything was in my locker and closed it, locking it. Grabbing the hair tie on my wrist, I tied my hair up into a ponytail, following the girls out of the locker room and to the gym hall.

I snickered at one or two of them who had theirs extra high, or rolled up the bottom so it was shorter, and then the rest of them either had on the shorts or the sweats. We stood around and I interacted a little, mainly keeping to myself. "Hello girls!" the coach said as he blew his whistle, the talking quieted as we listened.

"This is where we will meet from now on, you will come get changed, meet me in this hall connected to the gym, I will come and take roll, then we will go in the gym and meet the guys, the other coach does the same, you may call me Coach O, and the other coach is Coach James" he told us and we nodded. After he took roll, true to his words we went int he gym where we seen the guys.

I squinted a bit and seen a familiar mop of hair from earlier. Grinning 'They are in my gym class, yes!' I smirked a bit, happy my new friends are in my class. "Alright, today is a get to know each other type day, so go split up and play some game" Coach James pointed to the multiple games set up, football(soccer), volleyball, basketball, etc.

Coach O blew his whistle and we all split up, I snuck behind Dean and covered his eyes "Guess who" I made my voice deep and I could feel his confusion "Zac?" he questioned uncertain and Zac gasped as I began laughing "You're so slow" I told Dean as I let my hands drop. "Oh it's you Madi" he laughed "My hands are not that dainty" Zac said and I gasped "You take that back mister", he grinned "Make me." he said.

I went to lunge at him but I felt hands drag me back "Let me at em" I tried to shake off Moose and Dean, but their grip was tight "I'll make you shut up alright" I growled at Zac, who was mocking me and laughing as they dragged me away "Let's play" they said and we proceeded to talk and play football. "Don't be such a baby" I shrugged at Dean and he whined.

"You said you didn't know how to play this" he whined "I didn't but now I do, stop complaining because you got your ass kicked" I sassed and Ash laughed "Burn dude" I high fived him. "I call you on my team next time" he pointed at me and I tipped my imaginary hat "Alrighty then" I said and we heard coach call "GO GET DRESSED, 10 MINUTES!" he told us the remaining time and we split ways.

After changing and grabbing my stuff, we met back in the gym until the bell rang, walking out with the guys we continued to talk "How about we hang out this weekend, I'm sure my Aunt wouldn't mind" I shrugged and they nodded, we were talking about weekend plans and how there was nothing to do.

"You guys this way too?" I questioned and they nodded, Dean and Noah stopped at a fairly nice looking Jeep while Ash and Zac stopped at a nice blue Benz, I whistled "Nice" I walked to my own car and Dean whistled "Damn, that's sexy" Dean said and I winked "I know MY baby boy is sexy, no need to tell me" I laughed and he rolled his eyes.

"Ha ha" I shook my head, "See you lot tomorrow" I waved as I tossed my bag in the passenger seat, sitting down, hearing a chorus of different good byes. Starting my baby I turned the music on and began my drive home.

I could write more, but I decided to just make another chapter, I totally forgot to update so I am now, I've been kind of busy, but not much, so here ya go.
