Grief Stricken

You hang up the phone and feel the tears streaming down your face. You panic and look for the car keys. ‘Deep breathes y/n, deep breathes’ you think as you fumble around the kitchen area. “Y/n what are you looking for?” you turn around to reveal the tears streaming down your face. “Y/n what’s wrong love?” He comes up to you and gives you the biggest hug known to man. “It is Lucy…she’s ummm…in a coma” Benedict hugs you harder but doesn’t have time to say anything because you find the keys and run out of the door.

Benedict’s POV

Maybe I should go with her. She has a unbreakable bond with Lucy; she was her maid of honour at the wedding. If it was Martin or Andy or Tom I would feel the same. I would have gone with her but I am in my PJs, I will get change and meet her at the hospital. She is going to be so stressed that won’t be good for her or the baby.

A few weeks later

Y/n POV

You are sitting in your living room flipping through your wedding photos. Just seeing her face makes you cry. You have many tissues in your hand and you feel like you haven’t stopped crying in weeks. The front door opens, Benedict has come home from filming and as soon as he walks in he goes straight to you and hugs you tight. He wipes away a tear with his thumb and kisses you softly on the forehead. “I…can’t believe…she has gone…” You sob as he sits on the sofa and you snuggle in silence. He does not speak but he just being there is comforting enough.

Benedict’s POV

She hasn’t stopped crying since she died. She has lost her best friend, I couldn’t imagine that. I still remember her face a couple of days ago when they told her that she had gone. She was grief stricken and just fell to floor. I tried to help but they were so close, I could not just wave my magic wand and she would feel better. Ever since she had the accident, y/n hasn’t spoken about the baby. It is like it has gone out of her mind. I do want to bring it up but I am quite happy sitting here comforting her. It would be the wrong time to bring it up right?

“God I need a drink!” She exclaims suddenly, she is about to get up but I pull her back down, closer to me. “You cannot drink y/n, the baby.” She sighs like she has only just remembered about the baby.

Y/n POV

‘How could I forget?!’ You think as you snuggle closer to Benedict. He is warm, welcoming and you fall asleep in his arms.

Hey guys! Sorry for such a short part! Don't hate me for killing Lucy :) I promise you it does become more happy in the future. I enjoy writing so much and I really appreciate the support from you guys!
