5 Months Later

You are seven months pregnant now and you have gone out with Benedict to the Sherlock series four UK panel. You obviously not going to be on the stage but you are sitting in the wings, observing. Moffat and Gatiss are talking about the episode premiere which is happening in a few days. Benedict is pleased that they are releasing the series a couple of months before the due date of your baby, because that means he can spend time with you when it gets closer to the birth.

On the panel are Steven Moffat, Mark Gatiss, Benedict, Martin, Amanda and Andrew. They are finding it difficult to talk about the next series without giving the plot away. You of course know bits of the plot because Benedict talks about Sherlock a lot but you would never give anything away. “Now if there are any questions from the floor then please ask. Remember though that we cannot give anything away at all about this series.” Mark says, you still think of him as Mycroft because you have been a fan of the show for ages.

“What is your favourite thing about the set of 221b Martin?” a woman in red asks.

“I like the little things like the skulls, the old furniture and it being so messy. It is kind of like Steven’s bedroom.” Martin is the joker, the crowd laughs and so does Steven.

“What was your favourite scene of all time to act Andrew?” a teenage boy asks with a doctor who shirt.

“I loved filming the pool scene, it was incredible. I loved the different dynamics of Jim and it was quite an important scene because that is when Sherlock finds out who Moriarty is.” Andrew’s answers are always straight to the point.

“Hi Amanda, would you rather marry Martin or John?” a girl in an ‘I am SHERLOCKED’ t-shirt says. The crowd make ‘ooohs’ sounds and Martin starts laughing.

“Martin definitely, although John is a perfect angel, I think he could get a bit boring. Whereas Martin is a joker and swears a lot and is not an angel.” Amanda answers.

“Yeah I am the fucking devil.” Martin jokes.

“You are my devil.” Amanda replies and kisses Martin on the cheek.

“Benedict, you are obviously married now and have a baby on the way. When the baby does arrive, will it distract you from your work?” A man asks. You sit there looking as shocked as Benedict does.

“Well one thing, I don’t see my child as a distraction. Amanda, Martin, Steven, Sue (Vertue) and Rupert (Graves) all manage filming, producing and writing etcetera and they all have children. Y/n supports me because she knows that my work is very important to me. Obviously my family do come first over my work but that doesn’t mean that I will have to cut down on the amount of jobs I take. And believe me, y/n can tell you all about how excited I am about being a dad.” Benedict looks at you sitting in the wings and smile.

The same man who asked the question says, “Is she here?” Benedict looks over you and back to the audience and nods. He beckons you and you stand up ready to walk to him. “My wife, y/n.” he says and he looks back over to you.

You begin to feel light headed, ‘not now y/n, not here’ you think to yourself as you attempt to walk over to Benedict. He walks over to you and holds your head, “You alright?” he whispers in your ear. You nod and greet the audience. There are a few people shouting out congratulations. You say thank you, wave and leave again but you do not sit down. You go the bathroom.

Benedict’s POV

I am pleased that they like y/n, and they said such sweet things about her and the baby. Still got the trailers for Sherlock series four to go and then this is over. I look over to y/n in the wings but she isn’t there. She isn’t sitting in her seat, I hope she is ok. Stop fussing Benedict!

Y/n POV

You walk into the bathroom and dart straight for the cubicle. You lean over and vomit into the toilet. The room begins to spin and you collapse in a heap, hitting your head on the wall.
