Chapter 6

I was driving to get something to eat , when I saw a girl lying on the sidewalk. Wait a minute, that's Annaliese! I cant just leave her there. I parrallel park the car, and jog to her. She's breathing, so she's not dead, thank god. She probably fainted. What the hell? Why would she faint. Her cheeks are stained with tears, but she still looks perfect. This chick is really getting under my skin, and not a bad way.

I scooped her up and walked her to the car. I gently lied her acrossed the back seat and quickly ran to the driver side and hopped in. Then, I began to drive to my house.

When we arrive, I jump out and retrieve Annaliese, careful not to wake her, although she's completley out cold. I walk her up the many stairs, up to my room. When we reach the door, I kick it open and set her down on my bed.

She looks like a goddess, Sleeping Beauty, absolutley perfect. I've already admitted to myself that I like her, and since then, whenever I'm around her,  I like her even more. I want to apoligize to her as soon as I can. And as soon as I do, i'll make my move on her. I want her to be mine, I dont want anyone else to have her. I like her a lot, which is insane since I only started feeling this way today. But as I thought about her today, but the more I think about her, the more things I realize I like about her. No matter how hard I try, I just can't seem to get her out of my god damn mind.

I tuck a stand of her shiny brown hair behind her ear and get up from my positon sitting next to her unconsious body. I go down stairs and into the kitchen, in search of something to eat, since I never made it to Chipotle. I grab a bunch of food, and head back upstairs to check on Annaliese. I hear her stirring. She must be waking up.  I open the door and she jolts up. "What the....where am I?" She groans and rubs her temple. "Fucccckkk, my head hurts."

"Here, i'll get you some asprin." I smile slightly, earning a confused exspession from her. I leave and return with 2 small pills and a cup of water. I hand them to her and sit down next to her.

"Uhh...thanks." she mumbles before taking the pill and downing the glass of water.

"I was driving down the street and I saw you lying on the sidewalk, passed out. So I brought you here. I guess you fainted." I said with a shrug.

"Thanks." she says again.

"Your welcome, but what happened? Why'd you faint?" I asked. She looked at me, obviousky surprised by my concern.

"Its a long story."

"I got time." I replied cooly.

She sighs and begins ''Well, my parents met these other parents and they started talking. They told  my parents about their son, that goes to our school and was having troubke with Math. So they offerred me to tutor him." she sniffles. "And that son, turned out to be Cameron." Shit. What did he say to her? Do to her? Cameron is pretty cruel, not that I havent been. "And we worked without barely speaking, we took a break, and while he peed, I cut strawberries for a snack. I cut the fucking shit out of my finger" she said showing me her bandaged finger. "...He cleaned it and put a band aid on it. He told me I looked beautiful today and then he kissed me." he bottom lip quivered. Wait, her and Cam kissed ? I opened my mouth to speak, but she wasnt done. "Matt caught us and he punched Cameron for some reason. I guess he hates the idea of Cam being nice to me. But yea, I ran out, Cameron followed, basically confessed to liking me and I ran away and left him standing there. Then I guess I fainted." A single tear fell from her eye as she looked down.

"Heyy, don't cry, Annaliese." I said, bringing my hand up to cup her cheek, my thumb catching the tear drop. She flinched, but didn't pull away. "Its gonna be okay." I was kind of jealous that Cam kissed her but she obviously was already having a bad enough day, not dealing with my jealousy, too.
