Chapter 9 - Running's Never a Good Idea

"Tommo, don't dare, D-DON'T YOU DARE. IF YOU SHOOT ME I WILL ANNIHILATE EVERYONE IN THIS ROOM INCLUDING YO- THAT'S IT!" 

It's been about a couple weeks after the Coffee Shop Faux Pas and things have calmed down quite a bit. As relaxed as it gets around here, me and the boys are playing Call Of Duty on their two separate screens. 

You're very violent while playing this game.

Angel and Jamie went home the day after the Great Chinchilla Escape. I suspect Jamie wouldn't want to hang around us very often considering that happens almost every other month; and I also suspect Angel, being my sister, makes him come with us anyway. Poor thing. 

Bell went home ermm never. Her and Niall have grown extremely close to each other, and I've found it really cute. What if they're dating? Awwww. I don't mind though, Bell's like a party package and we always have fun around her. We had an extra room that needed filling anyway. She's the one who brought the video games over. 

In case anyone was wondering why I'm about to murder Louis, don't worry there's a reason for it. What kind of monster do you think I am; murdering someone for no reason? No, the thing is Lou and I (Haha *rhyme rhyme rhyme rhyme rhyme*) are on one team while Haz, Leeyum, and Nialler are on the other. By now, the others are dead and only Liam is left standing, which leaves us to fend for ourselves. Which, might I add, is not my specialty at all.

It reaaaaaally isn't.

Yeah, but Lou is chasing me around and I can tell you this isn't going to end we- OH THAT DOES IT. 

I abruptly get off the couch and Louis has a look of pure, unadulterated terror as I start chasing him throughout the house, avoiding causing injury to all new pets and eventually grabbing him by the back of the collar of his t-shirt. And despite me having him in a death hold, his feet still persist in kicking as I easily and gently drag him by the underarms back to the living room where I set him on the couch, sit down next to him, swing my legs over onto his lap, grab a fist-full of popcorn and shove it down his shirt. 

I'm only hostile when getting them, It's just a bluff and never do anything at all compared to my reaction. The boys laugh and Louis yells as he scrambles to get the popcorn out of his shirt. Let me also add, Louis' version of scrambling is rolling around on the floor while the boys all start laughing. 

Louis eventually composes himself and gives me a pout. 

"Aww Lou I'm sorrryyy!" Me and the boys give Louis a big group hug and it's all peachy again. After the hug, Louis takes off his shirt because I'm guessing he didn't get all the popcorn out and we lay around the couch in all directions thinking of something else we can do. I get up from the couch and make my way towards the stairs to my room. 

"Morning, Bella." I say as I pass by her leaving her bedroom. It's only around 10 in the morning so it's natural for Bella to get up at this hour.

"Hey! You bastards woke me up!" She wasn't mad at the least, weeell maybe a little. 

"Sorry Bell." I laugh as I walk into my room. I grab a pair of mid-thigh length gym shorts and a 5 Seconds of Summer tank top. I guess I ought to run off the cookies, right? I get changed, put my hair up in a messy bun and grab my house keys. 

"I'm going out for a run, won't be long!" 

The entire household gasps and in complete unison retort "RUNNING?!"

I laugh as I make my way out the door "Oh shut up!" Strange, they sounded one voice short. I press play on my exercise playlist and start running, feeling my feet fall to the pavement. The warm sun hits my skin as I close my eyes for a moment and take a deep breath. 

It's a bit funny how a moment can change everything; because when the scent of the chamomile bushes growing beside the sidewalk engulfed me is when I heard the ear piercing scream of rubber and a  shock wave coming from my side to everywhere across my body. 

Then everything became dark.
