McQuade was just missing the iceaxe too hook up and climb the mountains. Johnny was just missing his sleeping bag and his snow goggles. Johnny tried to find the gear in most of the gear in a local sport shop but he couldn't find it. They didn't have it cause lots of people are going hiking cause its hiking season. McQuade on the other hand had a friend that was a blacksmith. This friend of his is Frank, Frank can make swords, knives and lots of other tools that need to be forged.
McQuade finally has the iceaxe for hiking. But the problem was that Johnny didn't have the snow goggles and the Sleeping bag. He realized his parents used to hike with him back when he was thirteen years old. Johnny decided to call his father in Cleveland Ohio to send him the sleeding bag and the snow goggles.
"Hello, son is it you?"
"Yes it is, of course, who else would call in such short notice?"
"I was just asking." Johnny's father replied.
"So how is college son?" His father asked
"It was fun, I graduated already, Master's degree on geography!" Johnny replied happily.
"Whats the problem son, why are you suddenly calling in such short notice?" His father asked.
"Well, me and my friends are about to hike Mount Everest but then I am still missing my gear, just the snow goggles and the sleeping bag." Johnny explained calmly.
"Woah, take it easy there, you know Mount Everest is the tallest mountain on earth and I heard lots of people died trying to climb it, I don't want to lose you son, you're too young to die!" His father said while feeling shocked and worried at the same time.
"The thing is, we might be the special ones that survived Mount Everest." Johnny said while being excited.
"Alright, the gear will be sent tomorrow okay." His father said calmly
"Okay, I'll wait for it, the hiking will be next Monday anyway."Johnny explained.
"Hey Lucas, McQuade, I've got good news!" Johnny shouted.
"What is the good news?" McQuade asked in confusion.
"Yeah, what is it?" Lucas asked again.
"My gear will arrive tomorrow!" Johnny said with happiness in his heart.
"Good for you, we will all have the complete gear for the hike next Monday." Lucas said with excitement.
