Adventures With Johnny (Mount Everest)

Chapter 8

McQuade was finally done with his pan washing. Noah and Mason decided to join the group and climb together with Johnny, Lucas and McQuade. Johnny agreed because Noah and Mason were really kind to them. Lucas also agreed because Noah and Mason looked like they needed help. McQuade said yes because Noah and Mason were his friends as well, They've ever met in campus, Noah once helped McQuade to study on a hard geography test. Noah was a geography graduate but Mason was an Information Communication Technology graduate. Mason met Noah in McDonalds. They met by accident because Mason was checking his phone while Noah was checking his watch and then they accidentally bumped each other.

They apologized and at the end, here they are on Mount Everest hiking with Johnny, Lucas and McQuade. Everyone finally finished their breakfast and are about to continue the hike. They hiked step by step and then they finally reached one time where Noah was pretty tired. Noah started complaining a lot cause that is what he do when he is tired. 

Noah then proceeds to persuading others to stop and camp on the place. Each time he complains though, it was always a very steep part of the side. They needed to climb more. The camp before this hike was on of the biggest spots since climbers before used to climb there and on their first or second night, they would stay at that spot for a camp and the next spot was pretty far away.

"Can we stop here and camp?" Noah asked with a complaining like tone.

"This place is too steep and its too risky to camp here." Johnny replied concernedly.

They climbed and climbed but still, they couldn't find a good spot for setting up their tents for their sleep. It was nine p.m. and they still have not found a spot to camp on. Mount Everest was really steep so it was really hard to climb. Their breaths are getting lighter and lighter each step they take. It was also getting way colder.

They finally found a place where he could camp easily. There was an empty cave which was pretty dark. There were a few trees that that they can use for firewood. There were also some broken sticks of wood on the ground that they can use for firewood. They finally set up their own individual tents, ate their food and slept quietly.
