The next day came, Johnny woke up first. He woke up pleasantly and quietly. He rubbed his eyes just so that it could be open and also because it was itchy. Johnny went to Lucas' tent and woke Lucas up. Lucas wasn't a deep sleeper so it was easy to wake him up. McQuade on the other hand, was a real deep sleeper, when he sleeps at home or in his dorm, it is a must to have ten alarms ringing to wake him up.
"McQuade, Oi, WAKE UP, STOP SLEEPING, ITS ALREADY 8 A.M.! Lucas screamed on McQuade's ear hoping that McQuade wakes up with energy.
McQuade woke up really lazily, rubbing his eyes trying to check the time. He then proceeds to trying to find breakfast. He is a rich kid at home, breakfast is always served. He couldn't find breakfast and he just realized that he wasn't at home and he was on Mount Everest. He decided to heat up some water and cook the instant food he has in his bag.
Everyone made their breakfast and finished it already, so the second day of the hike started. Lucas started the hike. They hiked slowly and steadily, they got grappling hooks to get themselves on flat areas. What they're doing is basically just trying to find a flat spot to set up their tents and camp there. It was a very long climb cause Mount Everest was really tall. They finally reached a place where the flat spots were a lot, the ground was mostly flat there and the sky was really dark and grey.
They started to set their own tents up so that they could take off their thick clothing and stay warm. They got their tents up and ready to be stayed in. Not long later, they saw two climbers that just reached the ground and are about to set up their camp. They looked like they were people that come from Nepal to Johnny. But they were fellow Americans too. They were young men like like everyone else right now. Everyone introduced themselves to each other and they finally got to know each other really well. These fellow people also came from New Jersey. These people were previous graduates from their same university, They were the graduates from last year.
