Johnny and his friends are just flying in the plane waiting for it to land down to Nepal and so that he can hike Mount Everest with his 2 daring friends. Johnny didn't do anything other than praying to God so that he can survive the hike of Mount Everest and make his parents amazed. If he wasn't so curious he wouldn't be going to Nepal for the hike.
Hours passed by and they finally reached Lukla International Airport of Nepal. Lukla was the closest airport to Mount Everest. In confusion, Lucas asked Johnny about how they're going to get to Mount Everest. They decided to go on a taxi.
"Hey boys, where you going?" The taxi driver asked curiously.
"Mount Everest please." McQuade replied calmly with a kind voice.
The taxi driver drove the car pretty quickly cause it is quite a long ride even though that are in the nearest airport to Everest. Ten minutes have past and still, they're not at their destination yet. A few minutes later, the weather started to feel even colder than before. It was fifteen degrees Celsius! Ten minutes later Johnny started blowing breaths to his hand, he can see his breath very clearly like it was fog.
Lucas wasn't feeling so cold because he used to live in Toronto. Toronto is a very cold city and Lucas was born there so he is very used to the cold weather. McQuade was also feeling pretty cold, he also started blowing breaths like what Johnny is doing. McQuade was born in Mexico but grew up in Miami and Miami is a very hot place where beaches are one of the main attractions of the city so he couldn't stand the cold.
"Really, this cold and you guys are freezing to death!?" Lucas boasted.
"We weren't born in Canada like you!" McQuade said in anger.
"Woah, guys, calm down, you want to hike or not?" Johnny added.
"Fine, we'll shut up." Lucas replied while moaning.
They finally arrived in Mount Everest. The taxi driver couldn't take them farther than the car stop. Johnny and his friend were all forced to walk their way to the Mount Everest.What they did was they paid the ride and went out. They wore their layers of jackets before they start the hike.
"So Johnny, you got the gear you need?" McQuade asked calmly.
"I've got all the gear ready, even the tent that we are going to sleep in." Johnny replied.
