Chapter 11- Caught

Andrew's POV

I had just returned from the latest drug trade that was about an hour away and was heading back to my room to find the front door wide open. I thought it was strange considering I just came from there no more than 10 minutes ago. I was positive I closed the door as well. Sir would kill me if I didn't. With how much effort he puts into security, he might as well of just hung me for just leaving it wide open. I should probably close it before Xander sees, if he hasn't.

I walk over to the door to shut it. Out of the corner of my eye and to my surprise, in the distance at the guard station, was a small figure crouching below it just out of sight. The figure was unrecognizable. I step out of the door and look a little closer to see it was Alexa. She must be trying to escape! But how? It should be impossible, especially for someone like her with no experience. I then notice the black tundra with Blake driving coming. She must be waiting to dash out while the guards distracted. Clever... But if I stop her, Imagine how much of a reward Xander would give me! Let's do it! I start to run towards her, but instead of going straight I turn to the right a bit so that she doesn't notice me coming. I am as quiet as I possibly can as I get closer. The truck has already reached the station and I could see Alexa getting ready to run. I catch up behind her before she can. I sneak up to her just in time to stop her before she ran. Luckily, she doesn't notice me.

I grab her hair from the back right as she got up to run, knocking her to the ground. She lay there, groaning in pain for a moment then she looked up to see who caught her with fear in her eyes. I couldn't help but smile. This fool.
