To give you all a little idea of how big Xander's mansion is, here's the best example I could find. The only thing I would change is make the back yard a bit larger and move the pool to the other side of the court. But there's a little example to help you to image it. Enjoy, it gets juicy in this chapter!!!

Alexa's POV

It's time. It's time for us to make our escape. Today is the day that we attempt to get out of here. Today is Thursday and it's so close to when we need to leave.

We're not making our escape quite yet, but it's almost there. It's currently 10:54 pm. Blake said he would be here at 11, and here I am being ready waiting.

I'm terrified. My heart is beating so quickly and loud it makes me want to just STOP it. It's that loud. I just need to ignore it and continue to wait and be ready. We planned this, we planned this very carefully and we're going to succeed. We spent too much time planning this to fail now. We've thought of everything. We were ready.

I was currently dressed in a black T-shirt and sweatpants with a matching hat and running sneakers. It would help us to blend in a bit with the night glow and would also make it easier to run.

I sit there for what feels like forever, until finally there's a small knock on the door. The slightest knock, just enough for me to hear but no one else. I peak through the eyehole in the door - strange I know. I thought it was really weird when I saw it but it helps me now doesn't it? - to my horror, find not Blake but Andrew. I panic for a brief moment; Did he hear us planning? Does he know what we're going to do? What's he doing here?

I relax a bit and quickly put a robe over myself to hide my black clothing and take off the black sneakers and hat. I hide them behind the dresser, hoping he doesn't want to come in. Finally I run my hands through my hair to make it look like I was in bed.

I take a deep breath and open the door, giving off the most tired look I could, hoping he'd fall for it. He looks me up and down then says something. The last thing I wanted to hear him say.

"I know." He says it with so little emotion, it's frightening. He stares at me, not moving. Time to put my acting skills to the test.

I yawn, pretending to be as tired as possible and like I was in bed before he came. "What?" I say, my eyes half open as I look at him, with fake confusion in my tone.

"Y'know what I'm talking about." He says, still with very little emotion. I mentally panic and just hope Blake comes soon to help me with him.

"What are you talking about? Why did you wake me up?" I say, keeping the act up. What he says is like a prayer to my ears.

"I know you know what we do for a living around here. I just wanted to tell you that I think you should know how we make so much money, so I didn't bother to tell him you already knew." He says. Huh, would you look at that. Something he's not a jerk about. Shocking.

"Fine... But why did you feel to tell me this, this late?" I ask, truly wondering but glad he didn't actually know what was really going on today.

"Well, I didn't want Si-" He is cut of by Blake punching him on the side of the head, immediately knocking him out. He falls to the ground with a thud. I look at Blake in surprise and a bit of anger at the stupid action he just did.

"What are you thinking?! Now when he comes to he'll know!" I whisper-yell at him.

"Well I thought he knew and was trying to stop you or something..." Is his explanation. Cute, he's nervous.

"He was just telling me he knew what you people do for work. He didn't know anything. Agh who cares, just bring him in here!" I say, and Blake grabs his arms and drags him into the room and places him on the side of the bed.

The time was now 11:07, not too late. But now we have this to deal with as well. Hopefully he won't come to until we're long gone. We don't have time to worry about him now. I take the robe off, place it on the bed, and slip the hat and shoes back on. Now that we have to hurry twice as much, we don't have any time to lose.

We get right into our plan. We both sneak out of my room and down the hall to the stairs. Blake looks over the balcony to find no one so we continue. We sneak down the stairs and to the front door. He unlocks it and we walk out. He locks it after we leave so the maids don't find anything suspicious once they awake. We then make our way around the house, avoiding all cameras and gaurds, to the back yard. It was massive! Probably around 7 acres, which is ridiculous.

The whole property was surrounded by trees, so it's in the countryside of somewhere. By the looks of it, maybe Montana. But that couldn't possibly right. I live in Tennessee, and those states are crazy far from each other. That's insane! I ignore it, and we continue through the backyard.

The whole property was surrounded by a large fence, but as we reach the very far edge of the yard, close to the trees, I see cameras again. I look at Blake expectantly telling me where to go to not be seen. He makes a motion of 'follow me' and soon we are underneath a tree canopy away from the sight of all the cameras. We still sneak though, being careful.

You never know when a guard might show up. We make our way by the fence, staying underneath the canopy of the trees. So we come upon a breach in the concrete fence, just big enough for us to sneak through. It was hidden just enough for no one to see, which makes me wonder how Blake knew about it....

I shook it off as unimportant and followed Blake through the hole to the other side just to be greeted by more trees. A forest. We make a run for it. Blake with our backpack of food, water, and other needed necessities on his back with me on his trail.

We did it. We were able to successfully escape and now look where we are. We made it past the guards and cameras and through the fence. What we're going to do now, I don't know. All I know is that we made it. That we're free.
