Taehyung licked at ice cream, sat on a bench in the middle of Duryu park besides the stranger from the internet. The guy who he texted for weeks on end and the guy who he had spent the day with.
There was something surreal to the brunette about finally being with the guy he'd only ever imagined meeting and the day had been nothing less than perfect. Depsite the initial awkward encounter at the train station everything from then on had seemed almost magical to the young Taehyung.
It had already became quite late. The blue sky fading into a much darker hue. Despite the
Taehyung lifted his head to face his accompany. As he lifted his head he was met with a pair of dark eyes staring at him. The later smirked noticing he'd been caught causing Taehyung to turn away, his checks flushing bright red. 'Stupid, cocky kid' Taehyung thought to himself. Once he regained his confidence he turned to face Jungkook again.
"Thank you for today." He smiled. "I'm glad I finally go to meet you."
Jungkook's smirk softened for a moment, "My pleasure- but we're not done yet kitten."
Taehyung's face dropped. "But it's getting late!"
"Then we better make the most of our time." Jungkook added, rising to his feet.
Taehyung also jumped to his feet, determined to fight his argument."But what about getting a train back home? It's so far away!"
"The trains run late, it's fine Tae." Jungkook assured the elder, strong confidence lingering on his words.
In all honestly Jungkook had no idea what time the last train home was. All he knew was he wasn't done yet. He still had a few things to check off his list before he headed back to Busan.
"But-"
"Do you not want me to stay?" Jungkook asked wearing a fake pout.
Taehyung dipped his head awkwardly. The elder shook his head. "It's not that."
Jungkook smirked at the others stuttering knowing he had him wrapped around his finger. "Well then there's no time to waste." The younger gripped the others wrist gently but firmly before running off into the park. Taehyung didn't resist. Instead he allowed himself to be dragged by the other. He was too concerned by how his heart skipped a beat at the contact. His mind was racing at how close the two were. And he was just letting him because truthly he enjoyed the warm touch of Jungkook's hand.
"Where...are...we going?" Taehyung panted as he ran behind the elder.
"You'll see." Taehyung could hear the smirk in Jungkook's voice.
So Taehyung obediently trialed after Jungkook knowing full well he wouldn't receive any kind of answer from the later. But he was okay with it. There was something about Jungkook's quirky, secretive ways that was different.
However after running for over a minute Taehyung's lack of P.E and efforts earlier caught up to him and his pace slowed.
"Jungkook! Wait up!" Taehyung gasped.
The younger turned his head to see a flustered and out of breath Taehyung.
"Sorry." He mumbled, slowing his pace. He traced his fingers through his hair whilst looking down.
Taehyung could tell Jungkook was much fitter than him just by looking at his well built body and the strength of his grip. Yet it was also clear young Jungkook was oblivious of his own strengths to the point Taehyubg began giggling to himself once he had enough breath back. He noticed how Jungkook eyed him funnily but continued regardless. He was having to much fun to let anyone stop him.
