Natsu's POV:

It's been almost a year since Lucy was put into a coma.

I still have no idea how Wendy saved her. It's probably because she's so stubborn.

Anyway, I finally top the guild that I was END.

At first, everyone was afraid of me, even Happy.

But then they realised that I wasn't really evil anymore so after a month, everything was fine.

Today is the anniversary of when Lucy and I first met.

Today was also a sad day.

I would be heading home.

I had to go back home and rule over my kingdom.

I so badly wanted to take Lucy with me, but sadly, she was still asleep.

The guild decided to throw a going away party for me.

Of course, I'm not leaving forever, it's only for a few years.

Heading to the guild, I took in my surroundings.

Magnolia. The place I called home for almost two years.

The place I met Lucy Heartfeilia.

The place where I found a true family.

I smiled, before realizing that I was at the guild.

Pushing open the guild doors, I was greeted with  smiles and shouts.

I felt the guild wrap me up in a hug of death.

For the next few hours, we laughed, we cried, we danced, we lived.

Excusing myself from the party, I went up the stairs and entered the room my star was in.

Sitting beside her, I gently held her hand.

Looking at her face, I instantly began to cry.

I didn't want to leave her. I wanted to take her with me. I wanted to stay by her side. I wanted to see her smile, hear her laugh.

But I couldn't.

That's why I'm going back to my kingdom.

Not only to rule my kingdom.

I'm going to find a cure for her.

I'm going to wake her up, and I'm going to be the first one she see's.

Leaning forward, I gently pressed my lips against hers.

After a minute, I released her lips, and pressed my forehead against hers.

" I love you Lucy. I promise, I will come back to you, and I will wake you up."

"And when you do wake up, I will tell you my secret. And hopefully, we'll get married and have 33 Nalu babies."

Laughing at the last part, I slowly stood up and walked away.

Glancing back one last time, I opened a portal to my kingdom, before stepping through it.

' see you soon Luce.'

Author POV:

Right after the demon king left, everyone in the guild left, except for the sleeping blonde.

But, what no one realized, was exactly seven minutes after everyone left, the blonde finally woke up.
