Last update before I switch to His Little Killer again. It was been a pleasure to write for Sydney and Dallas again.
"I'm coming to get you," Dallas said on the other line.
"No, really it's fine. I think I have to take care of them now. Don't worry, I wont drink." I glance around at the girls who look almost dead on the floor. Vodka and Rum don't mix well with these people.
"Wouldn't you rather be with me?" He asks.
"You know I do."
"Then it's settled, I'm coming to get you." He hung up and I groaned. I was kind of happy I was going home. I didn't really want to take care of drunk girls.
In a way, they are kind of like babies. If I stay, it could be like practice for the real thing. Hailey groaned and rolled over, still clutching the bottle of Vodka.
"Tsk, tsk, tsk." I grabbed the bottle from her hands and laughed when she went to grab it back, but fell back onto the floor. It was only 6 o'clock in the afternoon.
"Where are you going?" I jump and turn around to find April standing there. Oh, no. We forgot about April.
"Home. Where are your parents? Shouldn't they be home?"
"They are on a business trip. They left Racheal in charge of me. Where is she, by the way?"
"She, uh, is asleep. Along with the others." I get a message from Dallas, saying that he is almost here.
"Aw, I haven't had dinner yet," April pouts. She looks just like Racheal when she does that.
I cant just leave a 6 year old to fend for herself with three drunken idiots.
"How about I take you with me and I'll feed you dinner. I also have games you can play with after you finish dinner."
April squeals and jumps up and down.
"Shhhh! We don't want to wake them. Let me leave them a note so they don't worry when they wake up."
I quickly write down the April is with me and not to worry. "Okay, let's go pack your overnight bag." April grabs my hand and leads me back down the hallway.
"I really want to bring this," April says and holds up a fluffy, sparkly, pink dress. It's my princess dress.
"I don't know-,"
"If you let me bring it, I wont tell mommy and daddy about Racheal drinking."
"Deal." I guess I'll have to deal with the loose glitter all over my room. Dallas is going to pissed about the glitter in his car.
"Go change, while I pick out your PJ's." April giggles and bounds off to the bathroom.
When she comes back out, I hand her the overnight bag. "You look very beautiful, Princess April." I bow to her and she giggles even more.
My phone pings and I check it. It's Dallas telling me that he's here. "Let's go, April."
"Stay behind me, okay."
"Okay."
We walk down the stairs and out of the lobby. Dallas is parked out front in his expensive car. Sometimes I think he loves that car more than he loves me.
Dallas is on his phone when we walk out to the car. I open the door for April and she scoots in. Dallas has still yet to notice the glittery little girl in the back.
"Hey," he leans over and presses his lips to mine. That's when the giggling starts. I smile into the kiss as Dallas freezes.
He slowly leans back and peers to into the backseat. "Uh, hi." He turns his attention back to me.
