It was one month until due date. Exactly 4 weeks. Things so far were pretty good. The occasional morning sickness and sore back. Swollen feet and migranes were pretty normal but what was happeninging now seemed pretty out of the ordinary.

This migraine was terrible and the tightening in my stomach was worrying me. I took some pain meds and brushed it off. It was probably just a little cramp.

My brain was pestering me about it. The pain was gone but the sick feeling in my gut told me it wasn't. I laid back into the couch and lifted my book to my face. School was almost out. Two more months and I was officially out of highschool. But until then, I had exams and testing so I was studying like a madwoman.

Currently, I was reading something so monotonous that I wanted to rip each eyelash from my eye.

Sometime through, reading it, I fell asleep. But not for long before I felt a sharp pain in my stomach. I shot up from the couch grabbed my stomach before another round of sharp pains coursed through my stomach. I wanted to scream but I didnt want to wake everyone else in the house.

I felt a dribble of liquid between my legs and I immediately darted as fast as I could to the bathrrom. I pulled my pants down and felt between my legs. Praying that it was just my water breaking.

I pulled my fingers back and examined them. I felt my heart clench in dread.

Blood.

I pulled up my pants and quickly walked up the stairs to Dallas and I's bedroom. I slowly shook him awake.

"Dallas, please wake up." I coaxed lowly. His eyes fluttered open and he sat up.

"What's wrong?"

"I'm bleeding. We need to go to the hospital." I stepped back and rummaged through my chest of drawers. I pulled out a jacket and a pair of sweat pants in exchange for my silk shorts.

"Does it hurt anywhere?" He asked and slipped on his pants. His eyes held so much concern.

I shook my head yes and grabbed the bag we had prepared for the trip to the hospital. "We have to hurr-," I clutched my stomach again as another tight cramp flew through my body. "-shit, it's getting worse."

The whole car ride there was filled with stomach pains and Dallas trying to make me feel better. When we got to the hospital, Dallas helped me through the door. Since it was so late there wasn't much of a wait for them to grab a gurney and take me to my room.

The pain had gotten worse to the point I wanted to just get these babies out of me. They rushed me into my room while the doctor had started to ask me questions.

How bad is the pain? Is there bleeding? How far are you? Have you had other complications?

Severe. Yes. 8 months exactly. I've been having other cramps.

I breathed deeply, trying to tame the flashes of pain.

To make matters worse, Dallas wasn't allowed in the room. No one at all. Not even family.

Sweat dribbled down my temples as another wave crawled across my stomach. I groaned and laid deeper into the uncomfortable bed.

Not soon after the doctor left another one came in.

"Alright, Miss Olsen, the symptoms you've been having are alluding to premature labor. I need to check if there is any dilation of your cervix."

After checking, he then hit the nurse button on my bed and started to gather things. "What's going on?" I asked.
