Chapter: 1 (part one)

Miyuki kishima pov
I stepped off the train with my suitcase as the metal doors of the train shut behind me. I turn my head and watched as it zoomed away into the distance and then turned to look in front of me while pulling out my phone. Many people looked my way curious as why someone would be wearing a Hoodie when it was hot today. I look through my phone and clicked on my contacts which only had 3 numbers. Hisoka kishima (my grandfather), kanekei kishima (my older brother who is over seas at the moment), and finally (my best friend) shinwu han. I clicked on the call button next to his name and held the phone to my ear. It rang a few times but in the end forward me to his voice mail "sorry! Can't answer right now so leave a message!" Then it beeped signaling the start of the recording "shinwu..I'm at the train station, it's 2:05 in the afternoon right now. I'll wait for you here." I ended the recording and looked around for a bench to sit on to wait for him. I found one not far from where I was standing and it was under the shade of a tree which was perfect for a hot and sunny day like today. I walked over and sat down with my suitcase in front of my legs. I took out my earbuds and plugged them into my phone, I hit the shuffle button on my music app and listened to music to pass time quicker.

Hours passed and I still didn't receive any calls or texts from shinwu, the sun had already set and it was dark. There weren't many people at the train station either. My phone only had 10% because I also decided to play a few games on my phone, I checked the time and it read 10:45pm. I stood up from the bench as a strong breeze blew by me, it was strong enough to knock my hood backwards. I quickly pulled my hood over my head again and grab my suitcase heading into the city. I passed various shops as I looked for shinwu, I stopped at a convince store walking in as a bell chimed announcing my entrance "hello! Welcome! Take a look around and let me know if you need help looking for something!" Said a nice lady at the cashier desk. I gave her a small nod and went to the ramen section. I grabbed all of shinwu's favorites thinking he was mad at me for something I might have done, maybe it was because I didn't let him know of my arrival sooner? Whatever the case was I knew he loved ramen so I bought a lot for him, I hoped this would be enough to please him "wow! That's a a lot of ramen. Did you find everything alright?" The lady asked while scanning the small cups of ramen and put them in a white plastic bag. I nod at her question and paid for the items "have a nice night young lady and be careful!" The cashier called out as I left the store and continued my search for shinwu.

After a bit of wondering around aimlessly and searching I heard a scream from where I was, I looked in the direction of the scream and looked around me seeing no one else heard it or just didn't care to do anything about it. Curiously I began to walk down the alley way where the scream came from and heard some talking up ahead "shinwu, don't worry. I don't think she's hurt." A voice said 'shinwu?...!' I turn the corner to see shinwu standing there with his back to me as he looked at a girl wearing the same school uniform as him. He helped her up "Yuna, get up slowly" he cautioned as my eyes traveled to his other companions, there was a short boy with glasses and a tall raven haired guy as well. The trash pile next to me began to move as I turn to look at it and see a very sickly skinny man stand up from the garbage "Miyuki?!" I heard my name being called out and I quickly turn to the source to see they had noticed my presence after making sure the other girl wasn't hurt "shinwu." I said and took a few steps towards him as my eyes shined with a little happiness at seeing him after so long and he could see it in the dim light of the lamp post. His eyes widen as I felt a boney hand grab my wrist tightly and pull me back harshly making me almost lose my balance "No! Miyuki!" Shinwu yelled as a bit of fear shined in his eyes but it was concealed by anger in a matter of seconds, I turn my head to look at the hand around my wrist and saw it was connected to the sick man from earlier. The man grabbed my jaw with his other hand and tilted my head to the side while licking his lips and moved to what I assume was to bite me and he would have if a metal trash can didn't slam into him courtesy of shinwu. I lost my balance due to the things I was holding but found myself in the ravens haired guys arms before I even leaned to one side. His crimson eyes searched in the darkness of my hooded face "Run!" Shinwu yelled and pulls the girl with him, the boy with glasses was already ahead of us all. The raven haired guy slowly let me go as I stood on my own 2 feet, I look up after making sure I didn't drop anything on the ground, though he probably couldn't see but my face held wonder and curiosity, how'd he get here so quick just in Time to catch me before I fell to the ground if he was behind shinwu from the beginning? Shinwu ran back to us "what are you guys doing standing around here for?! Come on!!" He yelled at us and pulled us by our arms "but my suitcase" I said and he yelled out frustrated and ran back grabbing it and then ran back to us while pushing us forward.

Time skip

Shinwu and the boy with glasses along with the girl were out of breath but both me and the raven haired boy were not, I wasn't tired or out of breath because shinwu had carried both me and my suitcase. He said it was because I was slow but it was really because I didn't want to drop his ramen. I made sure his ramen was okay and not damaged in any way as they spoke to each other " *huff* *huff* we can stop now" shinwu said as the boy with glasses agreed with him also trying to catch his breath "r-right he couldn't have followed us this far" I turned to my suitcase and looked inside for a bit moving multiple things out of the way and then pulled out 4 water bottles "why do you have so many?" The girl asked as I handed her one "I like to work out" I simply stated but in a nice way and gave one to shinwu and the other short boy "would you like some as well?" I asked turning to the tall raven hair guy, he didn't say anything but took the water from my outstretched hand gently. I turn back to my suitcase and zip it closed as the boy with glasses commented "what the hell, the weird looking guy had the craziest eyes" shinwu instantly agreed while pointing at his own eyes saying "yeah! Did you see the lasers coming out of his eyes?!" He said it very loudly "shinwu, you talking nonsense. It must have been the light aiming at his bloodshot eyes" the boy with glasses said thinking logically and pushing his glasses up a bit as well.

Shinwu thought about it "hmm...whatever. Regardless of what that was, he sure is abnormal." Shinwu stated and looked over at the girl who still looked a bit spooked "yuna, you okay?" She gave a small nod and let out a shaky breath "yeah I am okay. Thank you" She said looking over to the boy with glasses who Shook his head and looked over in shinwu's direction "I didn't do anything. Shinwu heard you scream and acted right away." He explained to her quickly. She nods understanding now and turns to shinwu with a smile and a small blush "shinwu, thank you so much. If you hadn't come then..." she trailed off at the end not wanting to continue "your welcome. That wasn't anything! ha ha" shinwu chuckled with a small blush as well.
