I spent the rest of the day avoiding the new guy.  I still don't even know his name!  I go to my locker and quickly pack up my things, hoping to get out before I see him again.

"Hey!" Lily jumped next to me, making me jump in surprise.

"You alright? Why so jumpy?" she laughs opening her locker.

"Yeah I'm fine! just got a lot of homework so I'm trying to leave earlier" I explain zipping up my book bag and throwing it over my shoulder.

She nods her head in understanding.  "Okay well wait for me I'll walk with you" she says closing her locker.  I wait impatiently, looking around for him.  Just when I think I'm in the clear, he walks into the hallway.  Two girls latched onto his arms.  I roll my eyes.

Lily catches me looking at him. "He's hot right" she says looking him over.  I have to stop myself from growling at her for checking out my mate..wait no!  Who cares if she check him out?

"Eh he's alright" I say.  Just then his eyes lock on me and I'm in a trance.  Lily starts waving her hand in my face.

she laughs "Yeah, just alright"

"What's his name?" I ask curious.

"I believe it's Grant?" she says waving over Matt.

Of course it's a hot name too.

Matt comes over and wraps his arm around Lily. "Hey guys" he says casually.

"Hey" we both reply in unison.  We make our way out of school and go our separate ways.

"Bye I'll see you guys tomorrow" I call to them

"Text me later!" Lily yells across the parking lot

"Okay I will" I yell back, getting some strange looks from other students.

I get home and start to head straight to my room when I hear my mom call me down.

"Honey we're having dinner at the Michaels tonight!" she says when I come into the room.

"Whose the Michaels?" I asked confused.

"They're the new pack in town.  Alpha Eric has invited us over, how nice of him!" she gushes.

What! There is no way I'm going over there!

"I'm not going over there" I say calmly.

"Yes you are young lady!  Alpha Eric is new to this town and we must obey him." she says sternly while pointing her finger at me.

I sigh and stomp my foot like a three year old "Fine" I walk out of the room and go upstairs.  This is just great how can I avoid him now?

My mom comes up stairs and picks out an outfit for me. "Hey cheer up! I hear they have a son your age" she says winking at me.  I give her a small smile.  Yeah, but he's a total player.

About an hour later We're ready to leave and make our way over to his house.  About fifteen minutes later we're there.  I get out of the car slowly and look at the house.  It's huge!  My mom gives me an encouraging smile and walks up to the door.

She rings the doorbell and a few seconds later a Tall skinny woman answers the door.

"Hi! Welcome to our home.  I'm Eden" she says politely shaking my moms hand then looking at me. "Awh you are so pretty" she compliments while shaking my hand.

I smile "Thank you" 

She steps aside "Please please come in!  Sorry the place is kind of a mess, I'm still working on decorating" she laughs as she closes the door.  No turning back now, I think to myself.
