Today I came across this article which explains a concept 'Transformation Vocabulary' which was developed by an entrepreneur called Tony Robbins... It's definitely worth sharing.
What is this transformation vocabulary?
It's basically nothing but transforming your vocabulary into a much positive one. It seems, the words we use in our daily life tends to influence our behavior and our state of mind. So, in order to have a positive, happy and peaceful mind, our vocabulary also needs to be positive.
How to implement this in your life?
Whenever you talk to some about your life, your reply would be, "Life is just normal" Now, in stead of saying 'just normal', we should try saying 'good' which forces our mind to look at the 'good' aspects of life, which in turn lightens our mood and makes us a tad bit happy. Similarly, when you are depressed, just say "I'm just a little disappointed" This way, your mind indirectly feels a bit lighter. This way, using a positive vocabulary, your conscience keeps reminding you of all the good and beautiful aspects of your life.
So, what you do is, whenever you're using a high intensity negative word, replace it with a low intensity one and when you use a low intensity positive word, replace it with a high intensity one. This will increase your positive-mindedness.
I want to try this and see if it's really effective. Why don't we try it together? I'm gonna try this for nearly a week from now. Let us share our experiences after a week of implementing this. If it works, then it's obviously an easy way to make yourself happier! Are you willing to try it? :) Come on! Let's start! :D
