What has she gotten herself into..?
————————————————————
Daisy looked around before getting up and grabbing her bag. She thought she could slip away to find her way, when someone grabbed her and pulled her back.
"Going somewhere?~" A familiar voice said as she froze. "You are something. Thought you could slip away, huh?" Israel chuckled as he let her go. "We made an agreement."
"I thought you would go back on it." Daisy said softly.
"I'm not that type. If you're in a hurry, then let's go. But I lead. You have no idea where you're going."
"How would you know anyway?" She asked and he looked at her.
"I've been out of Devil's Canyon more than once. There's a lot you wouldn't know or understand." He replies before leaving. She was quiet as she followed. Surely he couldn't be trusted, could he? Yet, she felt the opposite. Sighing in defeat, she continued to follow him and trust him for the time being. It was just a temporary partnership anyway, so there was nothing to be worried about.Meanwhile Israel was stuck in his own thoughts. She had gotten quiet since they left started off. Maybe this was a bad idea. He shook his head. He needed answers and she needed help. Yes, he may be a demon, but he was different and he hoped that she could see that. It was just temporary anyway. He glanced over his shoulder to look at her before stopping.
"Why are we stopping..?" Daisy asked as she looked at him.
"You alright? You haven't said a word."
"I'm okay. Can we please keep going?" He looked at her before nodding and he continued on their way; edging toward the end of the canyon.
"You know.. If you want to say something, go ahead. I won't judge."
"I don't have anything to say. Really. I just want to get this over with."
"Fair enough, I suppose." Israel nodded as his eyes changed from red to a dark brown. Daisy tilted her head curiously and he chuckled lightly. "Surprised. It happens when I leave the canyon. But they do change back if I let my demon side come out or when it becomes dark.
"I see. I'm just surprised. You look a little more normal.. But I don't mind the red either." He smiled when she said that. Maybe they can get along.
