As the four of them continued their journey, Daisy couldn't help but think. Israel had been acting a bit different with her and she was kinda curious as to why. Could he like her..? She shook her head. That was impossible! They were opposites, yet to her that didn't matter.. She found him to be nice and different.
"Daisy?" A voice called, making her look to see her best friend looking at her with a worried look. "Are you okay?"
"Y-Yeah.." She nodded and Emir nodded and she was about to ask what was wrong.
"Hey! You two are slowing up!" Israel said as he and Robin were ahead. The girls looked before catching up and he sighed softly. "Let's take a break." Daisy nodded before leaving the group to look for a quiet place to think.
Israel watched as Daisy left. She looked distracted. But why? He debated at whether or not he should go after her. Deciding to, he followed her and saw her sitting under a tree. Could she be upset about what happened to her parents? Possibly. But he also felt like there was something more.. He went over to her and sat down beside her.
"Dahlia?" She jumped a bit and looked at him. "What's wrong?"
"I-it's nothing.." He looked at her.
"Tell me. I know it's not nothing. Is this about what happened?"
"Why would you care anyway..?" She looked down and Israel immediately hugged her, making her squeak in surprise. "I-Israel...? W-wha-"
"I do care." Israel said softly. "I do care about you. More than I should.." He whispered.
"W-what are you saying..?" Daisy looked at him and he sighed softly as he looked back at her.
"I love you Lia.."
