She didn't want to be like this.

"Carrie sweetie wake up, Carrie, Carrieta" someone said softly while gently shaking her.

Carrie jolted awake to see the face of her grandmother who was driving.

"It's ok...it's ok..." she said gently while running her hand through Carrie's hair.

Carrie looked outside to see they were almost to the Welcome to Derry sign.

"We're here sweetie" her grandmother told her as she smiled.

It's been a year since the Black Prom and a month since she woke up from her coma, Sue had dug her out of the rubble finding her barely alive. The doctor were baffled that she had survived, but it didn't surprise Sue, knowing Carrie wasn't like any normal girl and the town of Chamberlain would never forget  that. She caused so much damage and death in one night, causing so much grief and anger but also making others feel guilt and remorse for how they treated her or how they turned a blind eye from her pain. Carrie was labeled as a murderer and as a monster and the town became a ghost town because of how many people died and how many people left.

Carrie didn't blame them though, even though her grandmother, Ms. Desjardin, and Sue kept telling her she wasn't a monster she didn't believe them.She killed so many people including her mother, she will forever be haunted by their death and even though she didn't kill Tommy she was still haunted by his death just the same, Sue didn't blame her for Tommy's death, She blamed Chris and her boyfriend for that. Sue was greatful to Carrie for saving her along with her and Tommy's baby, she had a baby girl named Isabella Carrieta Snell. Carrie never got arrested after she woke up because they couldn't prove how she did it but most people believed it was because some of the police felt sorry for her. Carrie's grandmother, her mother's estranged mother took custody of her a couple of months into her coma, her grandmother was  kind and affectionate to her and knew about how her daughter Margaret tried to kill her grandaughter due to suffering from mental illness for such a long time which was also the reason of their estrangement.

They were now moving to the other side of Maine to have a new start in the small town called Derry. While it looked  normal and peaceful as Carrie looked out the window of the car she could  sense faintly that there was something wrong with this town but pushed it to the back of her head thinking she was just being paranoid becauses she was just not use to this place yet.
