Carrie bolted up from her bed gasping with her eyes filled with terror, she kept dreaming about the same clown killing different childern for the last 2 weeks since she moved to Derry. She ran from her bed into the bathroom and began to hurl up her dinner and then began to quietly sob when she was finished, even though it was suspose to be a dream she could smell the blood and the death , it made her sick espeacily since it was a child who was killed. The dreams where always in different places and different childern but what was always the same clown killing them and him trying to grab her though she always woke up before he could.

After she washed her face in the sink she went down stairs to the kitchen since she had no desire to go back to sleep, the clock on the oven said 4:10am and grandmother wasn't going to wake up until 7 am. She made herself some coffee and went over to the computer to do her schoolwork, after she woke up from her coma she had decided to homeschooling instead of regular school because of the bad memories she had of it and also because she was afaird she might people again, besides she didn't think any school would accept her anyways not after everything she had done.

Her grandmother Judith was surprised to see her awake when she woke up and came down to the kitchen.

"Good morning sweetie" she said softly with a smile.

"Morning grandma...." she replied raspy while never turning away from the computer.

"Your up early, what time did you wake up?" she asked her as she made a new batch of coffee.

" 4..." she replied.

Her grandmother looked surprised  then her face turned to concern.

"That's really early... even to do your school work...are you still having nightmares?... " she asked worriedly.

Carrie had nightmares for awhile about Black Prom, the nightmares she was having now had nothing to do with that.

"I just had a hard time sleeping..." she told her not wanting worry her and it was kind of the truth.

Her grandmother could tell there something else bothering her but decided not to presure her on it. She made herself and Carrie some breakfast then went to get ready for work, Her grandmother worked as the front desk responist for the motel in town, before she left to go out the door she went over to Carrie who was still on the computer.

"Sweetie you haven't been outside this house since we moved here...I know your afaird...but least go around the the neighborhood and look around....they  have library in town..."

Carrie didn't respond.

" Just go outside...even for a little bit" she said softly, she then kissed her on top head and walked out the house.

Carrie thought about what she said, she knew her grandmother was worried about her but she was afaird what would happen if she did go outside not to mention she had a bad feeling about this town in general and the nightmares didn't ecsacly help ethier, she eventually decided to head over to the library.

---------------

Carrie changed into a green shirt and blue jeans, while her mother was alive she had never let Carrie wear pants considering them unlady like so in other words sinful but her grandmother had bought them for her thinking it would more comfortable for her and she was right.

As she walked down her neighborhood she saw how it didn't look that much different from her old neighborhood, as she walked by she saw a little girl that looked about between 7-8 years sitting on the other side of the road playing with a ball, she had light brown hair with green eyes and was wearing a pair of brown pale shorts with a yellow shirt and worn white sneakers. The little girl looked at her with broken and sad eyes , Carrie recognised this look all to well she could also see the little girl's clothes were old and dirty. Before she could say something a woman yelled.

"JESSIE!!!"

This caused her to run off, Carrie lost sight of her so she continued walking  but something else caught her eye that made her stop.

What she saw made her eyes widen, it was a post that had a lot of missing childern fliers on them and what horrified her was that she recognised some of them from her nightmares as the ones that where being killed by the clown.

Becoming to feel sick again she sped off not looking back, after walking for 20 minutes she made it to the library, it was kind of small and old but that didn't mind her, she liked libraries it was where she found solace in the past. She saw a boy around her age leaning up against the side wall of the library, he was wearing a grey hoddie with faded blue jeans, Carrie couldn't really see his face but could tell he had hazel eyes. She then saw a random guy go up to him to trade something with him secertly, when Carrie realized it was drugs she hurried on inside trying to be noticed but it didn't work because the boys eyes followed her in.

Once she got in she started to look for P for paranormal, S for supernatural, T for Telekinesis, D for dreams, and C for clowns. Carrie didn't want to investigate her power after everything happen but the dreams that she had been having along the posters she saw today was starting to make her realize they were more then just dreams, they were actually murders being committed and she was able to be there physically, she also knew the clown commiting them was definitely not human but something else entirely. She was carrying a couple of books when someone spoke to her asking if she needed help, she yelped a little and dropped the books she was carrying.

"Sorry didn't mean to scare you, I'm Mike Hanlon the librarian and you are?" he said with a smile.

"Carrie... "she replied shyly and queitly.
